  • Oilers' Shakir Mukhamadullin: Agrees to two-year contract

    Mukhamadullin signed a two-year, $3.5 million contract with Edmonton on Saturday, per NHL player agent Dan Milstein. Mukhamadullin compiled five goals, 12 points, 49 shots on net, 63 blocked shots and 35 hits in 50 appearances with the Sharks during the 2025-26 campaign. Edmonton acquired the 24-year-old defender in a trade with San Jose on Wednesday. He will probably serve on the Oilers' third pairing in the 2026-27 season.
