  • Avalanche's Artturi Lehkonen: Chases Lyon in win

Lehkonen scored a goal on four shots and went plus-3 in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Sabres. Lehkonen's goal at 6:10 of the first period forced Buffalo head coach Lindy Ruff into an early hook, removing Alex Lyon from the game. Lehkonen has four goals and three assists over six outings in November. The top-line winger is up to eight tallies, 18 points, 51 shots on net and a plus-17 rating through 18 appearances this season. The point-per-game pace might not stick around, but a noticeable uptick in shot volume is a good sign for Lehkonen to remain productive throughout the year.

  • Avalanche's Artturi Lehkonen: Earns pair of points in win

Lehkonen scored a goal on four shots, dished a power-play assist and added two PIM in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Ducks. Lehkonen struck early with a goal 28 seconds into the game. He also set up Martin Necas' tally in the third period. Lehkonen has logged back-to-back multi-point efforts and is up to three goals and three helpers through five outings in November. On the year, the winger has seven goals, 17 points (two on the power play), 47 shots, 16 blocked shots and a plus-14 rating through 17 appearances.

  • Avalanche's Artturi Lehkonen: Two goals in third period

Lehkonen scored twice on four shots, added two hits and blocked two shots in Sunday's 5-4 overtime win over the Canucks. Lehkonen twice gave the Avalanche a lead in the third period, though neither one stuck. Prior to Sunday, the winger had been limited to three assists over his last six games. Lehkonen is up to six goals, nine helpers, 43 shots on net, 16 blocked shots, nine hits and a plus-13 rating across 16 appearances. As long as he's seeing top-six minutes and power-play time, he has plenty of potential to be an impact player on offense.

  • Avalanche's Artturi Lehkonen: Lights lamp twice in Boston

Lehkonen scored two goals on five shots on net and posted a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Bruins. The 30-year-old winger bookended the scoring on the afternoon, but he was the only Colorado skater to score on Jeremy Swayman. Lehkonen has three multi-point performances in the first nine games of 2025-26, racking up four goals and 10 points while adding 24 shots and a plus-9 rating. He has been thriving on the top line alongside Nathan MacKinnon.

  • Avalanche's Artturi Lehkonen: Plays provider in win

Lehkonen logged three assists, three shots on goal and a plus-3 rating in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Bruins. Lehkonen set up both of Nathan MacKinnon's tallies as well as Martin Necas' empty-netter in a big game for the Avalanche's top line. Lehkonen has two multi-point efforts through six outings -- he's earned two goals and five helpers to begin 2025-26. The winger has added 14 shots on net, six blocked shots, three hits and a plus-9 rating. Lehkonen has toned down the physicality in recent years, but he'll make up for it with decent scoring totals in a top-six role as long as he can stay healthy.

  • Avalanche's Artturi Lehkonen: Lights lamp Saturday

Lehkonen scored a goal on four shots and went plus-2 in Saturday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Stars. Lehkonen is up to two goals, one assist and nine shots on net over three games this season. He's been on the top line with Nathan MacKinnon and Martin Necas, but Lehkonen doesn't have the same natural talent as his linemates and probably won't match their pace on offense. That said, Lehkonen is capable of reaching the 50-point mark while playing in a strong offense, especially if he can stay on the first power-play unit throughout 2025-26.

  • Avalanche's Artturi Lehkonen: Provides two points Tuesday

Lehkonen scored a goal on two shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Kings. Lehkonen earned both points during a three-goal second period for the Avalanche. He helped out on Martin Necas' opening tally 48 seconds into the frame before cleaning up the loose change from a Cale Makar shot at 14:42 of the period. Lehkonen was on the top line Tuesday and led all Avalanche skaters with 23:29 of ice time. As long as the Finnish winger is in that spot, he's in a good place to produce offense, but it wouldn't be surprising to see some mixing and matching in Colorado's top six throughout the year.

  • Avalanche's Artturi Lehkonen: Nets goal in win

Lehkonen scored a goal on eight shots, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Thursday's 7-4 win over the Stars in Game 6. Lehkonen scored for the second game in a row, and his eight shots led all skaters in the contest. The winger has three goals, one assist, 21 shots, 14 hits and a plus-4 rating over six playoff outings. He remains a strong DFS option as long as he's playing on the top line.

  • Avalanche's Artturi Lehkonen: Tallies in Game 5 loss

Lehkonen scored a goal, added four hits and added two PIM in Monday's 6-2 loss to the Stars in Game 5. Lehkonen has earned two goals, one assist, 13 shots on net, 13 hits and a plus-2 rating over five playoff contests. He's still in a top-line role for now, but with the Avalanche facing elimination Thursday in Game 6, it wouldn't be surprising if head coach Jared Bednar bumped Gabriel Landeskog up to Lehkonen's top-line spot. Lehkonen is still a lock for top-six minutes and can add physicality with his scoring even if his usage is reduced slightly.

  • Avalanche's Artturi Lehkonen: Scores fluky goal

Lehkonen scored a goal on two shots and added two hits in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Stars in Game 1. Lehkonen didn't get any bounces to go his way late in the regular season -- he was limited to four assists over his last 16 outings before missing the Avalanche's game against the Ducks last Sunday due to a lower-body injury. However, his return to action in Game 1 saw him score when the puck bounced in off his skate after he was knocked off his feet midway through the second period. The veteran winger produced a career-high 27 goals and added 18 assists over 69 regular-season outings, and prior to this year, he had 23 goals and 20 assists over 71 NHL playoff contests. He can elevate his game and provide top-six scoring when it matters most.

  • Avalanche's Artturi Lehkonen: Ready to rock

Lehkonen (lower body) will play in Game 1 against the Stars on Saturday, according to Meghan Angley of Guerilla Sports. After sitting out Colorado's regular-season finale, Lehkonen finished 2024-25 with 27 goals, 45 points and 148 shots on net in 69 outings. In the postseason, he will play in the top six and see power-play usage.

  • Avalanche's Artturi Lehkonen: Won't play in regular-season finale

Lehkonen (lower body) won't suit up Sunday against the Ducks, Jesse Montano of Guerilla Sports reports. Lehkonen will wrap up the regular season with 27 goals, 45 points and a plus-36 rating across 69 appearances. He hasn't scored since March 10, but he'll have some time to recover from his lower-body injury ahead of the playoffs, which begin April 19.

  • Avalanche's Artturi Lehkonen: Logs helper in Thursday's win

Lehkonen notched an assist, four shots on goal and two PIM in Thursday's 7-3 win over the Blue Jackets. Lehkonen has not done well in recent weeks, enduring slumps of four and five games. He's earned a meager three assists over his last 12 outings while maintaining top-six minutes for much of that time, though he was demoted to the second line for a few games. The 29-year-old is back in a bigger role due to injuries -- Jonathan Drouin (lower body) and Martin Necas (undisclosed) missed Thursday's 7-3 win over Columbus and won't be rushed back since the Avalanche are already guaranteed a playoff spot. Lehkonen is at 44 points, 133 shots on net, 36 blocked shots, 32 PIM and a plus-36 rating over 65 appearances, so he has the skills to get back on track.

  • Avalanche's Artturi Lehkonen: Posts assist Saturday

Lehkonen recorded an assist and two shots on goal in Saturday's 5-4 shootout win over the Canadiens. Lehkonen has a helper in back-to-back contests since he snapped a four-game point drought. The 29-year-old winger has been shuffled down to the second line, and while playing alongside Brock Nelson isn't a bad thing, it's not the same as being on a line with Nathan MacKinnon. Lehkonen has 43 points, 125 shots on net and a plus-33 rating over 59 appearances in 2024-25 as a fixture in the top six.

  • Avalanche's Artturi Lehkonen: Scores twice Tuesday

Lehkonen scored two goals on five shots in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Penguins. Lehkonen has five goals and two assists over his last seven contests. The winger opened the scoring at 6:36 of the second period and also put away one of the Avalanche's two empty-netters. Lehkonen is now at 26 goals, 11 assists, 113 shots on net and a plus-26 rating through 50 appearances. He should get to the 40-point mark for the second time in his career, and his personal-best total of 51 from 2022-23 is within range if he stays healthy.

  • Avalanche's Artturi Lehkonen: Tallies in Wednesday's win

Lehkonen scored a goal on two shots and added two hits in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Devils. Lehkonen has three goals and two assists, as well as 15 shots on net, over his last five contests. The winger opened the scoring at 8:54 of the first period, and that was the only tally over the first 40 minutes before the game opened up in the third. Lehkonen is now at 24 goals, 35 points, 106 shots on net and a plus-24 rating through 48 appearances. He's surpassed his point total from 45 outings in the 2023-24 regular season, and he has a real chance to aim for the 30-goal and 50-point marks.

  • Avalanche's Artturi Lehkonen: Goal, assist in win

Lehkonen scored a goal on four shots, dished a power-play assist, added four PIM, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Friday's 5-4 win over the Oilers. Lehkonen's pair of points came during the first period, with his goal giving the Avalanche a 3-2 lead late in the frame. This was his first multi-point effort since Jan. 18 versus the Stars, but he has five goals and two assists over his last eight outings. For the season, the winger is up to 23 goals, 10 helpers, 100 shots on net and a plus-24 rating across 45 appearances. His goal-scoring success is fueled by shooting 23 percent, but his overall production is right in line with what he did in an injury-riddled 2023-24 despite a drop in power-play output.

  • Avalanche's Artturi Lehkonen: Deposits goal in win

Lehkonen scored a goal on five shots and went plus-3 in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Flames. Lehkonen gave the Avalanche their first lead of the game at 5:34 of the second period. He has four goals and an assist over his last five contests, though it's been nine games since he earned a multi-point effort. The winger is at 22 goals (a career high), 31 points, 96 shots on net and a plus-22 rating over 44 appearances this season.

  • Avalanche's Artturi Lehkonen: Snags helper Friday

Lehkonen registered an assist and two shots on goal in Friday's 5-0 win over the Blues. Lehkonen extended his point streak to four games (three goals, one assist) when he helped out on Martin Necas' first goal with the Avalanche. The 29-year-old Lehkonen is holding onto a top-line role currently, though he could occasionally swap spots with Jonathan Drouin on the second line. For the season, Lehkonen is up to 21 goals, nine helpers, 88 shots and a plus-20 rating through 41 appearances. He's reduced his contributions in hits, but his offense is steady and he remains one of the Avalanche's most important forwards in all situations.

  • Avalanche's Artturi Lehkonen: Scores again in loss

Lehkonen scored a goal on three shots in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Islanders. Lehkonen has a goal in three straight games and has scored seven times over his last 10 outings. The 29-year-old winger tied the game at 1-1 in the second period, but the Avalanche couldn't keep pace in the third. Lehkonen is up to 21 goals (matching his career high), eight assists, 86 shots on net and a plus-19 rating over 40 appearances this season. He can be effective on the second line, but he could also play alongside Nathan MacKinnon at times when head coach Jared Bednar wants a different look in the top six.
