For the playoffs, he's earned four goals, two helpers, 23 shots on net, 18 hits and a plus-1 rating over 12 appearances. He continues to play in a top-line role, but Carolina has gotten offense from throughout the lineup.

Hurricanes' Sebastian Aho: Offensive woes continue
Aho was held off the scoresheet in a 3-2 overtime win over Philadelphia on Saturday in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference second round.

Two of his goals have been empty-netters, and he picked up only one helper during Carolina's four-game sweep of the Flyers in Round 2. Aho should break through offensively at some point. He has 89 points, including 37 goals, in 97 career appearances during the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Hurricanes' Sebastian Aho: Two empty-net goals in Game 4 win
Aho scored two goals in a 4-2 win over Ottawa on Saturday in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference First Round.
Both went into an empty net. Aho's first came at 17:38 of the third to make it 3-1, and he added another at 18:45 after the Sens had pulled to within a goal. Aho put up seven goals, eight assists and 41 shots in 15 playoff games last postseason, and he has continued the magic with three goals and 10 shots in four games so far this year. Carolina's second line carried most of the weight against the Senators; Aho and his first-line mates will be looking to step things up in the second round against either the Flyers or the Penguins.

Hurricanes' Sebastian Aho: Resting Thursday
Aho won't be in the lineup versus the Blackhawks on Thursday, Adam Gold of The Adam Gold Show reports.

Hurricanes' Sebastian Aho: Extends point streak Saturday
Aho scored a shorthanded goal on seven shots in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Islanders.
Aho found the back of the net late in the second period to give the Canes a 3-2 lead with his second shortie of the campaign. Aho has found the scoresheet in five consecutive games and nine of his last 11, tallying 12 points (three goals, nine helpers) over that stretch. As a forward who sees regular ice time in all situations, the 28-year-old playmaker should remain one of the most reliable fantasy contributors on the Hurricanes' roster. Aho has 78 points in 76 regular-season games, and he's on the cusp of reaching the 80-point threshold for the fourth time in his career.

He's found ways to produce in previous games as well. Over Aho's last 10 outings, the Hurricanes have gone 7-3-0, and the star playmaker has made his presence felt with 13 points (three goals, 10 assists) despite a minus-2 rating over that stretch.
