Coffman was signed by the Colts exactly two weeks ago but now is once again out of a job with the team signing Frankie Williams. Coffman failed to record a statistic in his two games with the Colts as he played behind the likes of Dwayne Allen (ankle), Jack Doyle, and Erik Swoope.

Coffman was signed by the Colts on Tuesday, Kevin Bowen of Colts.com reports.
Coffman was with the Colts for training camp and the preseason, but he failed to land a spot on the final roster. With top TE Dwayne Allen (ankle) considered week-to-week and likely to miss at least one game, Coffman will provide depth behind Jack Doyle and Erik Swoope.

Coffman was released by the Colts on Sunday, Kevin Bowen of Colts.com reports.
Coffman spent the preseason with the Colts, but wasn't more than a depth option at tight end. The Colts needed to make room on their 53-man roster for some waiver claims and with Coffman unlikely to play a significant role, they opted to let him go. He participated in just two games last season, catching eight passes for 71 yards and a touchdown.
