Jim Dray: Released by Cardinals
Dray was released Tuesday by the Cardinals, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
The Cardinals signed Dray last week in order to add depth to an injured tight end unit. Now, with his release, it would appear that starter Jermaine Gresham (ribs) likely will return for Week 3 after being inactive for Sunday's win over the Colts.

Cardinals' Jim Dray: Signing with Cardinals
Dray is signing with the Cardinals, Kent Somers of AZCentral.com reports.
The Cardinals are looking to bolster their tight end position due to injuries to both Jermaine Gresham (ribs) and Troy Niklas (hip). Dray will still be behind Ifeanyi Momah on the depth chart and will likely only see game-action in emergency situations, at least until he gets a better handle on the playbook.

49ers' Jim Dray: Signed by 49ers
Dray signed a contract with San Francisco on Monday, Nick Wagoner of ESPN reports.
Dray was signed to replace Blake Bell (shoulder), who was placed on IR Monday. Likely the last option at tight end, behind Garrett Celek and Je'Ron Hamm, Dray is unlikely to have much of any fantasy impact in the final two weeks of the season.

Bills' Jim Dray: Released Tuesday
Dray was released by the Bills on Tuesday, ESPN's Mike Rodak reports.
Dray will be replaced by Gerald Christian, who was promoted from the practice squad for the corresponding transaction. Neither player offers any potential fantasy appeal, as even starting tight end Charles Clay has struggled to produce in Buffalo's run-heavy offense.

Bills' Jim Dray: Listed as active Thursday
Dray (ankle) has been listed as active for Thursday's Week 2 contest against the Jets.
Dray was limited in practice during the week, which put his status into question for the Bills' Thursday night game. Though he's active, he's still the second option at tight end to Charles Clay and likely won't have much fantasy value.
