Anderson Castle: Signed to Indianapolis' practice squad
The Colts signed Castle to the practice squad Monday.
The undrafted rookie out of Duke failed to make the Colts' 53-man roster but did enough to receive an invitation to the team's practice squad. He logged 18 carries for 88 yards across the Colts' three preseason games and would be a candidate for elevation to the active roster if one of Jonathan Taylor, Seth McGowan or DJ Giddens were to miss time.

Anderson Castle: Waived by Indy
The Colts waived Castle on Sunday, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.
Castle signed with the Colts in May as an undrafted free agent out of Duke. The running back participated in all three preseason games, accumulating 18 rushes for 88 yards. The UDFA will now be subject to waivers. If Castle goes unclaimed, he will become a free agent able to sign with any organization.
