Rams' Blake Corum: Limited workload during SNF
Corum rushed six times for 15 yards and caught two of four targets for no gain during Sunday night's 30-26 loss to Denver.
Corum saw nine less carries than backfield mate Kyren Williams in Week 3, the widest discrepancy between the two in a contest so far this season. Corum did see his highest amount of targets in a contest since he saw four targets against the Colts in Week 4 of the 2025 campaign, though he didn't really do much with his two catches Sunday. The running back has now rushed 28 times for 148 yards while catching three of five targets for 13 yards over three games to open the 2026 season.

Rams' Blake Corum: Even timeshare with Williams
Corum rushed 12 times for 79 yards and brought in his only target for 13 yards in the Rams' 28-6 win over the Giants on Monday night. He also fumbled once but recovered.
Corum and Kyren Williams had the exact same number of carries, and the former was just six rushing yards shy of his teammate's total. Corum also was efficient on his one reception, and the 2024 third-round pick, who also recorded 10 carries in Week 1 against the 49ers, appears set to work as a legitimate 1A option in the Rams backfield moving forward. Corum next takes aim at a tough Broncos defense in a Week 3 road showdown on Sunday night.

Rams' Blake Corum: Impressive with limited touches
Corum rushed 10 times for 54 yards and wasn't targeted during the Rams' 27-7 Week 1 loss to the 49ers in Melbourne, Australia.
Corum's backfield mate Kyren Williams worked as the starting running back and logged his first carry on the Rams' second play from scrimmage, but Corum garnered his first touch to start Los Angeles' second drive and ripped off a nine-yard run. The third-year pro would go on to outpace Williams by 13 rushing yards on one fewer carry, although Corum's lack of a pass-game role was a disappointment. Nevertheless, it appears preseason talk about an even closer division of labor between the two backs this season could have some credibility as a Week 2 home matchup against the Giants on Monday night, Sept. 21 approaches.

Rams' Blake Corum: Sits out preseason in advance of Year 3
Corum was rested for all three of the Rams' preseason contests.
Though Kyren Williams remains listed as the top running back on the Rams' unofficial depth chart, head coach Sean McVay's decision to hold out Corum throughout the preseason along with many of the team's key players suggests that the 24-year-old is essentially being treated as a co-starter heading into his third NFL season. After seeing limited action as a rookie in 2024, Corum doubled up his snap count in Year 2, finishing the regular season with 746 yards and six touchdowns on 145 carries while chipping in eight receptions for 36 yards on 14 targets over 17 games. While Williams remains the better bet to lead the Los Angeles backfield in carries in 2026, Corum could be primed to take on at least a slightly larger share of the workload after he was highly efficient with his opportunities a season ago.
