Buccaneers' Rachaad White: Productive with 12 touches in loss
Rotowire
White rushed 10 times for 51 yards and brought in two of three targets for 11 yards in the Buccaneers' 44-32 loss to the Bills on Sunday.
White played a clear second fiddle on the ground to backfield mate Sean Tucker, who logged a season-high 19 carries and turned them into 106 yards and two rushing touchdowns. However, White had his share of productive gains against the Bills' suspect run defense, finishing with his second-highest rushing yardage total of the season. White also has double-digit carries in six straight games, but he could see his workload take a hit if Bucky Irving (foot/shoulder) is able to make his long-awaited return from injury on the road against the Rams in Week 12.

Buccaneers' Rachaad White: Irving out vs. weak Bills run D
Rotowire
White is poised to maintain an expanded role Sunday against the Bills, as Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports that Bucky Irving (foot/shoulder) has been ruled out.
Irving has been sidelined since Week 4, opening the door for White to lead Tampa Bay's backfield. White averaged 16.4 touches in the previous five games Irving missed. Sean Tucker has worked as the 1B option to White in Tampa Bay's last two games, and both healthy running backs have nice opportunities to produce Sunday against a Bills defense that's allowing 5.4 yards per carry to the position.

Buccaneers' Rachaad White: RBs to Sit
Rotowire
Keep an eye on Bucky Irving's status, and if he returns from his five-game absence due to foot and shoulder injuries, then White shouldn't be started in any capacity in the majority of leagues. But even if Irving is out again in Week 11 at Buffalo, then you should only use White as a flex option, with his value higher in PPR. Sean Tucker has looked better than White in the past two games against New Orleans and New England, with 21 carries for 95 yards and a touchdown over that span, compared to 23 carries for 73 yards for White. Tucker could be gaining momentum, while White has struggled with two games in his past three outings at 8.4 PPR points or less. I like that White had five catches on five targets in Week 10 against New England, but he only managed 16 receiving yards. He also hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 6. While the matchup is positive against the Bills, who are No. 7 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs, it might be Tucker who is taking advantage of it and not White.

Buccaneers' Rachaad White: Eclipses 50 total yards in loss
Rotowire
White rushed 10 times for 38 yards and brought in all five targets for 16 yards in the Buccaneers' 28-23 loss to the Patriots on Sunday.
The Patriots' league-best run defense unsurprisingly made life difficult for White on the ground, limiting him to a long run of seven yards. Game script eventually also tilted toward the pass for Tampa Bay, and White was a beneficiary thanks to his versatility. The veteran back continued to fill the lead role -- although by only a single carry Sunday -- in the ongoing absence of Bucky Irving (shoulder/foot), and he finished with a season-high catch total as well. Considering Irving has yet to return to practice, White could well be heavily involved again in a Week 11 road matchup versus the Bills.

Buccaneers' Rachaad White: RBs to Start
Rotowire
White appears headed for another start in Week 10 against New England after Bucky Irving (foot/shoulder) failed to practice Wednesday coming off Tampa Bay's bye in Week 9. White struggled in his past two outings against Detroit and New Orleans with 8.4 PPR points or less in each game, but prior to that he scored at least 17.6 PPR points in two contests against Seattle and San Francisco. This week, White should be a significant factor in the passing game, and he has at least three receptions in four of his past five outings. The Patriots are No. 1 in most receptions allowed to running backs, and they have allowed 32 catches to running backs in the past four games against New Orleans, Tennessee, Cleveland and Atlanta. Six running backs have scored at least 7.9 PPR points against New England with just their receiving totals alone, and I like White as a No. 2 Fantasy running back in all leagues in this game.

Buccaneers' Rachaad White: Lesser of tandem backfield Sunday
Rotowire
White rushed 13 times for 35 yards and had two receptions on as many targets for 26 yards in Sunday's 23-3 win over the Saints.
White got another start in place of injured starter Bucky Irving (foot/shoulder) in Week 8, leading the Buccaneers' backfield in carries (13) and touches (15) in a comfortable win. That's where the good news ends, as backfield mate Sean Tucker (12-42-1) finished as the team's leading rusher while scoring its only touchdown on offense Sunday. With the Buccaneers on a bye in Week 9, there is a possibility that Irving could be ready to return when Tampa Bay resumes play against New England on Nov. 9. White would lose nearly all of his fantasy value in that scenario, so managers have to weigh whether it is worth holding on to the backup through the bye week.

Buccaneers' Rachaad White: RBs to Start
Rotowire
Bucky Irving (foot) is out for Week 8 at New Orleans, and White will start again for Tampa Bay. He should be considered a No. 2 Fantasy running back in all leagues, and I expect him to perform better than he did in Week 7 at Detroit when he only had 8.4 PPR points. Prior to that game, White scored at least 17.6 PPR points in two starts in place of Irving, and this is a great matchup against the Saints, who have allowed a running back to score at least 14.4 PPR points in all but one game this season. White has top-10 upside in this matchup on the road.

Buccaneers' Rachaad White: RBs to Start
Rotowire
White was excellent as the Start of the Week in Week 6 against San Francisco with 17.6 PPR points, and he's combined for 40.7 PPR points in two games without Bucky Irving (shoulder), who won't play again in Week 7 against Detroit. White has seven catches for 51 yards on seven targets in his past two outings, and he could have an expanded role in the passing game with Emeka Egbuka (hamstring) and Chris Godwin (leg) hurt. The Lions are No. 6 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs, but four guys have already scored at least 12.7 PPR Points against Detroit this year, including Josh Jacobs, D'Andre Swift, Derrick Henry, and Quinshon Judkins. I like White as a solid No. 2 Fantasy running back in all leagues.

Buccaneers' Rachaad White: Scores twice in spot-start Sunday
Rotowire
White took 14 carries for 41 yards and a pair of touchdowns while adding 30 yards on four receptions in Sunday's 38-35 win over the Seahawks.
White got the spot-start in place of injured starter Bucky Irving (foot/shoulder) on Sunday, commanding 14 of the 18 carries Tampa Bay gave to its running backs in the win. The 26-year-old White masked an inefficient day on the ground (2.9 YPC) with a pair of trips to the end zone in a strong overall fantasy performance. Initial reports hinted that Irving could also miss next Sunday's tilt against the 49ers, a scenario that would unlock another week of fantasy utility for White in Week 6.

Buccaneers' Rachaad White: Likely to lead ground attack
Rotowire
White is expected to receive the "vast majority" of carries in Sunday's game against the Seahawks while starter Bucky Irving (foot/shoulder) is sidelined for the contest, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Through the first four weeks of the season, White has filled a change-of-pace role behind Irving, but the former should have the opportunity to see his largest workload to date while the Buccaneers are without their top running back. Though Pelissero notes that the Buccaneers also have a plan to keep Sean Tucker involved in the ground attack and expect undrafted rookie Josh Williams to get some opportunities out of the backfield as well, White looks to be the most appealing fantasy option of Tampa Bay's three healthy running backs. In addition to being expected to lead the way in carries, White should also dominate the work on passing downs.

Buccaneers' Rachaad White: Bigger role on tap with Irving out
Rotowire
White and Sean Tucker will man the Buccaneers backfield Sunday at Seattle after Bucky Irving (foot/shoulder) was ruled out for the contest, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.
Irving wasn't able to practice this week due to a sprained right foot and a shoulder injury, and there's a chance he'll sit out Week 6 against the 49ers, too, per Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com. In the meantime, White and Tucker will handle most of the RB reps. When Irving made an early exit from a Week 14 matchup with the Raiders due to injury last season, White turned 19 touches into 109 yards from scrimmage and one rushing TD on a 75 percent snap share, while Tucker recorded three carries for 47 yards on 19 percent of the plays.

Buccaneers' Rachaad White: Limited to six touches in win
Rotowire
White rushed five times for 12 yards and brought in his only target for two yards in the Buccaneers' 29-27 win over the Jets on Sunday.
White was coming off a 10-carry, 65-yard, one-touchdown effort against the Texans, so his downturn Sunday, which came on his second-highest snap count of the season (20), was both noteworthy and disappointing. The fourth-year back was relegated to a much smaller role in the hard-fought win, and White also has been just a minor participant in the air attack through three games with a scant four targets. White and the Bucs draw a tough matchup Week 4, as the defending champion Eagles come to town on Sunday afternoon.

Buccaneers' Rachaad White: Week 3 Waiver Priority List
Rotowire
White didn't do much in Week 1 at Atlanta with 2.6 PPR points, but he rebounded in a big way in Week 2 at Houston. White had 10 carries for 65 yards and a touchdown and caught two passes for 1 yard on two targets. The Buccaneers trusted White to score the game-winning touchdown with six seconds left in the fourth quarter, and he could emerge as a flex option moving forward if he gets double digits in touches on a weekly basis. White is worth adding for up to 5 percent of your remaining FAB.

Buccaneers' Rachaad White: Scores game-winning TD
Rotowire
White rushed 10 times for 65 yards and a touchdown and brought in both targets for one yard in the Buccaneers' 20-19 win over the Texans on Monday night. He also recovered a Baker Mayfield fumble.
White logged seven fewer carries than backfield mate Bucky Irving, but the former finished with only six fewer rushing yards. Additionally, White was the only one of the two backs to cross the goal line, powering in off right guard with six seconds remaining for the game-winning touchdown. White is still a clear complementary option to Irvin, but after taking only two carries in the Week 1 win over the Falcons, his workload boost Monday night was encouraging for fantasy managers. White next takes aim at a Jets defense Week 3 that just allowed 132 yards on 21 carries to the Bills' James Cook on Sunday.

Buccaneers' Rachaad White: Finishes with 16 total yards in win
Rotowire
White rushed twice for 14 yards and brought in his only target for two yards in the Buccaneers' 23-20 win over the Falcons on Sunday.
White unsurprisingly played a clear second fiddle to Bucky Irving, logging 12 fewer carries than his teammate. White also was three targets behind Irving and trailed the latter in snaps by a 44-14 margin. While the division of labor between the two wasn't typically as unbalanced down the stretch last season during Irving's ascension within the offense, White's fantasy outlook is bleak for the time being heading into a tough Week 2 road matchup against the Texans next Monday night.

Buccaneers' Rachaad White: Labeled day-to-day
Rotowire
Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles said Monday that White (groin), who is not participating in practice, is day-to-day, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
White isn't practicing after having been forced off the field early during Tampa Bay's 29-7 preseason win over Tennessee on Saturday, but he's at least avoided a long-term injury by the sound of things. It remains to be seen, though, whether he'll be fully cleared in time for the Buccaneers' next exhibition matchup this Saturday versus the Steelers. Sean Tucker should benefit from an uptick in opportunities behind starter Bucky Irving as long as White is unavailable.

Buccaneers' Rachaad White: Diagnosed with groin injury
Rotowire
Head coach Todd Bowles said Sunday that White was diagnosed with a groin injury and will undergo further tests to determine its severity, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.
White injured his groin during the Buccaneers' 29-7 preseason win over the Titans on Saturday. An extended absence would open the door for Sean Tucker to fill in as the Bucs' RB2 behind Bucky Irving. White's practice participation over the coming week could determine his availability for Tampa Bay's next preseason game against Pittsburgh this coming Saturday.

Buccaneers' Rachaad White: Won't return Saturday
Rotowire
White (groin) is ruled out for the remainder of Saturday's preseason matchup against the Titans.
White handled one more carry after initially suffering his groin injury, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports, which could be interpreted as a positive sign that the injury isn't overly serious. If White were to miss any time, however, Sean Tucker would get the chance to carve out a complementary role alongside Bucky Irving. White's next chance to retake the field for preseason action will come Saturday, Aug. 16 versus the Steelers.

Buccaneers' Rachaad White: Drops weight, focused on quickness
Rotowire
White said during Thursday's training camp practice that he's dropped down to roughly 212 pounds and has improved his quickness, conditioning and stamina heading into Year 4, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.
White enters 2025 seemingly positioned for a complementary backfield role that will primarily make use of his passing-down skills, while 2024 breakout Bucky Irving dominates carries. As a pure runner, White has at times looked indecisive between the tackles, though last year was actually the most efficient of his career on the ground, with 144 carries for 613 yards (4.3 YPC) and three scores across 16 regular-season appearances. The 2022 third-round pick has only missed one regular-season game in his career to date, and he'd likely inherit a huge role if the 195-pound Irving were to miss any time, though there's also a lingering possibility that Sean Tucker (who averaged 6.2 YPC on just 50 rushes last year) pushes for more touches.

Buccaneers' Rachaad White: Gets three carries, seven catches
Rotowire
White rushed three times for 10 yards and caught seven of eight targets for 51 yards in Sunday's 26-24 loss to the Cowboys. He also lost a fumble.
White played second fiddle to Bucky Irving, who turned 19 touches into 92 total yards and a touchdown. The third-year pro posted his lowest rushing yardage total of the season but finished with his third-highest receiving yardage total of the campaign. White was held without a touchdown for only the second time in his last nine games, and his fumble at the end of a six-yard catch with 1:40 remaining secured the loss for Tampa Bay. He'll try to get back on track as a rusher in Week 17 against the generous Panthers run defense.
