The Dolphins waived Conyers (leg) on Thursday.
Conyers spent the 2025 season on the Dolphins' injured reserve due to a leg injury. He's evidently healthy now, given that Thursday's transaction didn't carry an injury designation, and he'll likely seek a depth role elsewhere. Dolphins' Jalin Conyers: Lands on IR
The Dolphins placed Conyers on injured reserve Monday due to a leg injury.
Conyers was a candidate to take one of the last spots on the Dolphins' 53-man roster, but his placement on injured reserve means he will not be eligible to play in 2025 barring an injury settlement. He signed with the Dolphins in late April as an undrafted free agent following his final collegiate season at Texas Tech.

Conyers is expected to sign with Miami as an undrafted free agent, David Furones of the Sun Sentinel reports.
Conyers was productive during his lone season at Texas Tech, catching 30 passes for 320 yards and five touchdowns. He could have the chance compete for a backup tight end spot as the team currently lacks any proven talent behind Jonnu Smith.
