Eagles' Willie Lampkin: Playing during OTAs

Eagles' Willie Lampkin: Practice window expires
Lampkin (knee) will remain on injured reserve for the rest of the season after his 21-day practice window expired Thursday, Zach Berman of The Athletic reports.
Lampkin has not progressed enough in his recovery from a knee injury to be activated from IR. He'll stay on IR for the rest of the 2025 campaign, and he'll aim to be fully healthy for the start of the 2026 season.

Eagles' Willie Lampkin: No limitations in walkthrough
Lampkin (knee) was listed as a full participant on Philadelphia's practice estimate Tuesday.
Nineteen days have passed since the Eagles designated Lampkin for return to practice from their injured reserve list, opening a 21-day practice window. If he's not activated to the 53-man roster in the next couple days, Philadelphia will be required to put him back on the shelf for the rest of the year. Barring any setbacks, it looks like there's a good chance the team will take him off IR later this week.

Eagles' Willie Lampkin: Practice window opens
The Eagles announced Thursday that Lampkin (knee) has been designated to return from IR.
The undrafted rookie out of North Carolina initially linked up with the Rams during the offseason, but he was waived by Los Angeles after suffering a knee injury during the team's second preseason game, then claimed by the Eagles and stashed on IR. Now, Lampkin kicks off a 21-day window wherein he can participate in practice without counting against the active roster.

Eagles' Willie Lampkin: Placed on IR
The Eagles placed Lampkin (leg) on injured reserve Friday.
Lampkin was claimed off waivers by the Eagles from the Rams on Wednesday, and the undrafted rookie will start the regular season on injured reserve due to a leg injury that he suffered in the preseason. He'll be forced to miss at least the first four games of the year, which makes Week 5 against the Broncos on Sunday, Oct. 5, the earliest he's eligible to return.

Eagles' Willie Lampkin: Claimed by Eagles
The Eagles claimed Lampkin (leg) off waivers from the Rams on Wednesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Lampkin suffered a knee injury and a sprained ankle during the Rams' second preseason game. It's unclear if he's fully healthy, but the Eagles saw enough in the undrafted rookie to scoop him up as a reserve option.

Rams' Willie Lampkin: Will miss a few weeks
Coach Sean McVay said Tuesday that Lampkin will miss "a few weeks" with a knee injury and a sprained ankle, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.
Lampkin exited the Rams' second preseason game Saturday early after suffering the injury, and now it looks like it will cause him to miss extended time. It doesn't seem likely at this point that he'll survive cut downs to make the final 53-man roster for the regular season.
