Dekkers completed 302 of his 457 pass attempts for 3,044 yards, 19 touchdowns and 14 interceptions during his final season at Iowa Sate in 2022 before playing in junior college in 2024. As the Saints currently lack proven talent at quarterback, Dekkers could be a candidate to land with the team's practice squad.
