Buccaneers' Tez Johnson: Week 10 Waiver Priority List
Rotowire
We don't know what's going to happen with Chris Godwin (leg) coming off Tampa Bay's bye in Week 9, but Johnson could have a prominent role as long as Godwin and Mike Evans (collarbone) are out. Johnson has 15 targets in his past two games, and he finished with nine catches for 101 yards and a touchdown over that span. Johnson will be tough to trust if Godwin is able to play in Week 10 against New England, but if Godwin remains out then Johnson should be considered a No. 3 Fantasy receiver n all formats. He's worth adding for at least 5-10 percent of your remaining FAB.

Buccaneers' Tez Johnson: Sleeper WRs
Rotowire
Mike Evans (collarbone) and Chris Godwin (leg) are out, and Johnson will be the No. 2 receiver for Tampa Bay opposite Emeka Egbuka. Evans was injured in Week 7 at Detroit, and Johnson stepped up with four catches for 58 yards and a touchdown on nine targets. He also scored a 45-yard touchdown on his lone reception in Week 6 against San Francisco, and Johnson is worth using as a No. 3 Fantasy receiver in the majority of leagues against the Saints. Seven receivers have scored at least 12.2 PPR points against New Orleans, and Johnson will hopefully step up for the Buccaneers and Fantasy managers in Week 8.

Buccaneers' Tez Johnson: Leads pass catchers in win
Rotowire
Johnson secured five of six targets for 43 yards in the Buccaneers' 23-3 win over the Saints on Sunday.
Johnson's catch and yardage totals were both team highs on an afternoon when Baker Mayfield threw for just 152 yards. The rookie's reception tally also qualified as a new career high, as Johnson benefited considerably from the absences of Mike Evans (IR, collarbone/concussion) and Chris Godwin (fibula). While Godwin is likely to get healthy over Tampa Bay's Week 9 bye, Evans will be out until late in the season in a best-case scenario, ensuring Johnson should continue enjoying an elevated role for the foreseeable future.

Buccaneers' Tez Johnson: Added opportunity on tap Sunday
Rotowire
Johnson is set to work as the Buccaneers' No. 3 receiver and likely see an increase in snap count and targets during Sunday's Week 8 matchup against the Saints due to the absences of Mike Evans (IR, collarbone/concussion) and Chris Godwin (fibula), Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.
The rookie has already been making his mark in the Buccaneers' offense in recent games, recording his first pair of NFL touchdowns and two four-catch tallies in his last three contests. Johnson logged a career-high nine targets in the Week 7 loss to the Lions on Monday night as part of the ripple effect of Evans' early exit and Godwin's absence, and with the same conditions at play Sunday, the Oregon product could capitalize.

Buccaneers' Tez Johnson: Week 8 Adds (WR Preview)
Rotowire
Johnson has played at least two-third of the snaps for the Buccaneers in each of their last two games and it is unlikely that rate goes down with Mike Evans out for an extended period of time. He also saw a season-high nine targets last week and has at least 9.9 PPR Fantasy points in three straight games. Until Chris Godwin gets back expect Johnson to be the second best receiver in Tampa bay and a WR3 for your Fantasy team.

Buccaneers' Tez Johnson: Week 8 Waiver Priority List
Rotowire
Mike Evans (collarbone) was injured in Week 7 at Detroit, and he will likely miss the rest of the season. We'll see when Chris Godwin (leg) will return to action, but Johnson looks like he'll be a prime playmaker for the Buccaneers alongside Emeka Egbuka and Cade Otton in the immediate future. Evans didn't play in Week 6 against San Francisco, and Johnson had one catch for 45 yards and a touchdown on three targets. And then against the Lions, with Evans hurt, Johnson had four catches for 58 yards and a touchdown on nine targets. He has a good matchup at New Orleans in Week 8, and Johnson is worth adding in all leagues for at least 5 percent of your remaining FAB.

Buccaneers' Tez Johnson: Another TD in Week 7 loss
Rotowire
Johnson secured four of nine targets for 58 yards and a touchdown in the Buccaneers' 24-9 loss to the Lions on Monday night.
Johnson tied for second in receptions, receiving yards and targets on the night for the Buccaneers, and he recorded his second career touchdown on a 22-yard grab with just under nine minutes remaining in the third quarter. The rookie now has a pair of four-catch tallies in the last three games, and given Mike Evans suffered a broken collarbone in addition to a concussion in Monday night's loss, Johnson could be set for an elevated role for the remainder of the season, especially if Chris Godwin (fibula) also continues to miss time.

Buccaneers' Tez Johnson: Hits pay dirt on one catch Sunday
Rotowire
Johnson brought in one of his three targets for a 45-yard touchdown in the Buccaneers' 30-19 win over the 49ers on Sunday.
The Buccaneers entered the game without Mike Evans (hamstring) and Chris Godwin (fibula), and they then lost Emeka Egbuka to a hamstring injury during the contest. That led to Johnson playing a career-high 38 snaps (72 percent), and he showed off his signature speed on his one reception to catch up to a Baker Mayfield bomb on a post late in the third quarter for his first career touchdown. The rookie could be set for even more work in a Week 7 road showdown against the Lions next Monday night if the team's wide-receiver depth chart remains as atrophied as it is in the immediate wake of Week 6.

Buccaneers' Tez Johnson: Makes presence known in win
Rotowire
Johnson secured all four targets for 59 yards in the Buccaneers' 38-35 win over the Seahawks on Sunday.
The rookie filled a bigger role than expected in the wild victory, making excellent use of his 22 snaps, which amounted to 36 percent of the Buccaneers' offensive plays. Johnson displayed his trademark shiftiness after the catch, gaining 31 of his yards post-reception. He's thought to have much more upside than the standard seventh-round pick after finishing his college career at Oregon with back-to-back 10-touchdown seasons, and perhaps Sunday's production will serve as a launchpad for more opportunity.

Buccaneers' Tez Johnson: Blanked on one target Sunday
Rotowire
Johnson failed to bring in his only target in the Buccaneers' 29-27 win over the Jets on Sunday.
The rookie played on 21 snaps (29 percent snap share) but was barely involved. Johnson had been a healthy scratch Week 2 against the Texans and was in on just eight snaps Week 1, but as a result of Mike Evans' hamstring injury, Johnson could retain active status in a Week 4 home matchup against the Eagles despite the potential return of Chris Godwin (ankle).

Buccaneers' Tez Johnson: Logs eight snaps in opener
Rotowire
Johnson failed to bring in his only target during the Buccaneers' 23-20 win over the Falcons on Sunday.
Johnson logged a scant eight snaps from scrimmage despite being listed as the No. 3 receiver on the depth chart to open the season. Sterling Shepard logged 37 snaps and finished tied for second in targets, so Johnson appears to be behind his veteran teammate in the pecking order going into a Week 2 Monday night road matchup against the Texans.

Buccaneers' Tez Johnson: Headed to Tampa Bay
Rotowire
The Buccaneers selected Johnson in the seventh round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 235th overall.
Johnson started his college career with Troy in 2020 before transferring to Oregon in 2023. He primarily played in the slot position for the Ducks and demonstrated chemistry with Bo Nix, with Johnson setting a single-season school receptions record in 2023 (86). Johnson followed that up with a strong 2024 campaign, catching 83 passes for 898 yards and 10 touchdowns over 12 games, and he was named as the Big Ten Championship Game MVP. Johnson has explosive burst at the snap and gives defenders trouble in the open field, but he'll need to firm up his route running to see consistent snaps at the NFL level. He faces an uphill battle in seeing offensive snaps in his rookie season in Tampa Bay but could serve as the team's top punt returner.
