Keandre Jones: Removed from IR with settlement
Jones (undisclosed) was removed from the Commanders' injured reserve Thursday after an injury settlement was reached, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Jones was set to miss the entire 2024 season after reverting to the Commanders' IR one day after being waived with an unspecified injury designation. With the settlement, he will now be able to sign with a team when fully healthy. Jones has appeared in eight regular-season games -- all with the Bengals -- since 2020.

Commanders' Keandre Jones: Reverts to IR
Jones (undisclosed) reverted to the Commanders' injured reserve list Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Jones was waived with an injury designation Tuesday, but he's since cleared waivers and will be forced to miss all of 2024 after landing on the Commanders' IR, unless the two parties reach an injury settlement. The Maryland product's most recent in-game action came back in 2022 with the Bengals, so he likely had an outside chance at making Washington's 53-man roster.

Keandre Jones: Waived/injured by Washington
The Commanders waived Jones with an undisclosed injury designation Tuesday, per the NFL transaction log.
Jones played 22 snaps (15 on defense, seven on special teams) in the Commanders' preseason opener against the Jets and finished the contest with four tackles, but he did not suit up for Saturday's game against the Dolphins. Jones would revert to Washington's injured reserve if he were to go unclaimed off waivers, meaning he'd have to miss the entire 2024 season unless an injury settlement is reached.
