Kobe Smith: Gets tryout with Atlanta
Smith (undisclosed) worked out for the Falcons on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Smith reached an injury settlement with the Eagles on Sept. 8 after being placed on IR. The 24-year-old also spent time with the Buccaneers, but he has yet to play in an NFL game. If it doesn't work out with the Falcons, it at least appears Smith is healthy enough to continue to pursue NFL opportunities.

Kobe Smith: Let go from IR
The Eagles waived Smith (undisclosed) with an injury settlement from the team's injured reserve Thursday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Smith was previously expected to miss the entirety of the 2022 regular season after he reverted to Philadelphia's IR with an unspecified injury. The defensive tackle out of South Carolina will now be free to join up with a new squad, assuming he gets healthy again this season.

Eagles' Kobe Smith: Pops up on IR
Smith (undisclosed) reverted to the Eagles injured reserve Wednesday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Smith, who was waived with an undisclosed injury by Philadelphia on Monday, likely will move to season-ending IR after no other teams chose to claim him. Unless he can land an injury settlement, the undrafted defensive tackle will have to sit the entirety of the 2022 campaign.

Smith (undisclosed) was waived by the Eagles on Tuesday with an injury designation, Chris McPherson of the team's official site reports.
Smith is dealing with an undisclosed injury and if he clears waivers, he'll revert to the Eagles' injured reserve list, barring an injury settlement. The 24-year-old has yet to make his NFL debut and could have to wait another year for his next shot.

Kobe Smith: Waived by Buccaneers
Smith was waived by the Buccaneers on Monday, Greg Auman of The Athletic reports.
Smith spent the past two seasons on Tampa Bay's practice squad and has yet to make his professional debut. The 2020 undrafted free agent previously spent time on Tennessee's practice squad in his rookie season and will look for a new team where he can compete for a depth role at defensive tackle heading into the 2022 season.

Kobe Smith: Signed to Bucs' practice squad
Smith signed with the Buccaneers' practice squad Tuesday, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.
The big-bodied defensive tackle went undrafted in April and spent time with the Titans earlier in the season. Smith played his college ball at South Carolina, where he posted 84 tackles (38 solo), seven tackles for loss and two sacks across 35 games over four seasons. With Vita Vea (IR-ankle) lost for the season, Smith would appear to stand a decent chance of being promoted to the active roster at some point this season if he performs well with the practice squad.
