The Chiefs waived George on Friday.
George joined Kansas City as an undrafted free agent last May but ended up spending the entirety of his rookie campaign on injured reserve due to an undisclosed issue. The 25-year-old cleared waivers Monday and is now free to sign with whichever team he chooses.

George (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.
George agreed to a contract with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent this offseason, but the rookie linebacker will miss the entire 2025 campaign after being placed on injured reserve with an undisclosed injury. The Pittsburgh product will now focus on his recovery before getting his next opportunity to take the field in 2026.
