Means worked out with the team Wednesday, and he has now inked a deal to head join Kansas City. The wide receiver was sidelined for a couple weeks while on the practice squad injured list with Cleveland due to a knee injury, but he now appears to be back to full health.

Means signed to Cleveland's practice squad in early September but landed on the practice-squad injured list due to a knee injury Oct. 20. The 2024 fifth-round draft selection has now been cut, so he'll have a chance to look for work with another organization once he gets healthy. The Browns signed wideout Xavier Guillory to their practice squad in a corresponding move Tuesday.

The wide receiver was selected in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft by New Orleans and he spent the entirety of the 2025 campaign on injured reserve after suffering a lower-leg injury during the preseason. Means suffered a hamstring injury during Saturday's 34-0 preseason loss to the Rams. The wide receiver has recovered quickly from the issue and is all set to return to practice. The 25-year-old will likely see more action in Friday's preseason finale against the Cowboys, giving him one more shot to prove his worth in a live game before cutdown day.

Means injured his hamstring during Saturday's 34-0 preseason loss to the Rams, Matthew Paras of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
Means went to the blue medical tent during Saturday's game and did not return, finishing with one catch on four targets for five yards. He'll undergo further tests to determine the severity of the injury, but it puts him in jeopardy of missing the Saints' preseason finale against the Cowboys on Friday.
