  • Browns' Alex Wright: Medically cleared to play

Wright (triceps) has been medically cleared to play, Scott Petrak of the BrownsZone reports. • Browns' Alex Wright: Season over

Wright announced via his personal Instagram account Thursday that he'll miss the rest of the season due to a torn triceps, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. Wright's absence will be a blow to the Browns' defensive-line depth, as he regularly rotated in. He'll undergo surgery and likely be placed on injured reserve in the next couple of days, when he'll turn his focus to his recovery. The third-year pro will finish his 2024 campaign with eight combined tackles, including 1.0 sacks.

  • Browns' Alex Wright: Limited in practice Wednesday

Wright (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports. Wright is still dealing with a knee injury first suffered Week 8 that forced the 23-year-old to miss last week's win against the Cardinals. The 2022 third-round pick will look to return to action Sunday versus the Ravens where he can contribute on both defense and special teams.

Wright (knee) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Seahawks, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports. Ogbonnia Okoronkwo could see more defensive snaps behind Myles Garrett and Za'Darius Smith for as long as Wright remains off the field.

  • Browns' Alex Wright: Undergoes knee procedure

Wright underwent arthroscopic knee surgery Tuesday. Wright suffered the injury during the Hall of Fame Game on Thursday.
