Texans' Jha'Quan Jackson: Inks deal with Houston
Jackson signed with the Texans on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
The 26-year-old from Tulane spent time on the Saints' practice squad last season and hasn't appeared in an NFL game since 2024, when Jackson served as one of the Titans' top return men and totaled 412 kick-return yards and 215 punt-return yards across 12 contests. He'll likely compete for a similar role ahead of the 2026 season.

Jha'Quan Jackson: Cut by New Orleans
The Saints cut Jackson from the practice squad Tuesday, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.
Jackson loses his spot on the practice squad to fellow wide receiver Samori Toure, who was signed Tuesday. Jackson appeared in 12 regular-season games for the Titans last season but didn't draw a single target on 46 offensive snaps.

Jha'Quan Jackson: Finds work in New Orleans
Jackson signed with the Saints' practice squad Wednesday, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.
The second-year pro from Tulane was cut by the Titans in late August after failing to make the team's initial 53-man roster, but he's now found work in New Orleans. Jackson's last in-game action came with Tennessee in 2024, when he appeared in 12 games and caught one of three targets for eight yards across 166 total snaps (124 on special teams, 42 on offense).

Jha'Quan Jackson: Let go by Tennessee
The Titans waived Jackson on Monday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Jackson failed to record a catch across three preseason games, and while his clearest path to the Titans' 53-man roster was as a returner, he was outperformed by James Proche and fourth-round rookie Chimere Dike. Jackson won't be on Tennessee's main roster for the start of the regular season, but he could return to the team as a member of the practice squad assuming he clears waivers.

Titans' Jha'Quan Jackson: Finds role in return game
Jackson appeared in 12 regular-season games during the 2024 campaign, catching one pass (on three targets) for eight yards while totaling 627 return yards.
Jackson was never able to secure a significant role on offense after being selected in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft. He did serve as Tennessee's primary punt and kickoff return man to begin the season, but the Tulane product was a healthy inactive for the final five games, leaving his role with the squad up in the air for 2025.

Titans' Jha'Quan Jackson: Healthy scratch for Week 14
Jackson (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
Jackson has played just five offensive snaps over his last three games, and he'll be sidelined Sunday for the first time this season. His next opportunity to play will be Week 15 against the Bengals. Mason Kinsey, Julius Chestnut and Tyjae Spears are candidates to take over as the Titans' primary punt returner due to Jackson's absence.

Titans' Jha'Quan Jackson: Not seeing much work on offense
Jackson played one of the Titans' 73 snaps on offense and returned two kickoffs for 55 yards and two punts for eight yards in Sunday's 34-10 loss to the Bills.
A rookie sixth-round receiver out of Tulane, Jackson has played just three snaps on offense through Tennessee's first six games, with the 24-year-old instead making most of his impact thus far as the Titans' return man. Though special teams will likely be where Jackson continues to see most of his playing time for the rest of the season, he could at least move up a spot on the depth chart at receiver after Tennessee traded DeAndre Hopkins to Kansas City on Wednesday. The Titans are left with Calvin Ridley, Tyler Boyd, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Jackson as the lone healthy options at receiver on the 53-man roster, though Tennessee could sign another wideout or elevate a wideout or two from the practice squad ahead of Sunday's game against the Lions.
