Wooden made a career-high six tackles (three solo) in Sunday's 27-13 victory over the Lions.
Wooden filled the starting defensive tackle job opened up by the departure of Kenny Clark, and he fared well in what was just his second career start. Roles along Green Bay's defensive line remain unsettled with Clark being swapped out for Micah Parsons less than two weeks ago, but it appears Wooden will be afforded the opportunity to nail down a starting job.

Packers' Colby Wooden: Plays in 13 games for Green Bay
Rotowire
Wooden finished the 2024 season with 20 tackles (nine solo) and two pass breakups across 13 regular-season contests.
A fourth-round pick out of Auburn in the 2023 NFL Draft, Wooden has appeared in 30 games for the Packers over the last two seasons, making one start. However, he hasn't made much of an impact in the box score, tallying just four QB hits and three tackles for loss, including 0.5 sacks, on 489 defensive snaps. Wooden will look to carve out a more prominent role along Green Bay's defensive line in his third season.

Packers' Colby Wooden: Active Sunday
Rotowire
Wooden (shoulder) is active for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.
The defensive tackle suffered the shoulder injury during Green Bay's Week 9 loss to Detroit but couldn't return for the team's Week 11 win over Chicago even with the benefit of a bye in between. Wooden has eight tackles (two solo) and a pass defensed on 91 defensive snaps in 2024.
