Limmer suited up during the Rams' preseason matchup versus the Cowboys on Sunday after having previously dealt with a thumb injury. Now healthy, the 23-year-old will continue to compete for a roster spot as a backup offensive lineman.

Rams' Beaux Limmer: Exits practice early
Limmer left Friday's practice early due to a thumb injury, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.
There is no word on the severity of Limmer's thumb injury at this time. The rookie sixth-round pick is competing for the backup job at center behind Steve Avila. Thus, a return to practice sooner than later would be beneficial for his chances.

The Rams selected Limmer in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 217th overall.
A four-year starter at Arkansas, Limmer played the majority of his collegiate career at right guard before shifting to center in his final season. That he never came off the field in either of the past two seasons is an attractive quality for an offensive lineman, and his positional flexibility should bolster the team's depth.
