Lions' Erick Hallett: Double-digit stops in defeat
Hallett recorded 10 total tackles (five solo) and a pass defensed during Sunday's 41-34 loss to the Rams.
Hallett was elevated from the practice squad and thrust into a starting role at free safety in Week 15 with both Kerby Joseph (knee) and Thomas Harper (concussion) inactive. Hallett met the moment, notching a new career-high 10 takedowns in the start. With Joseph expected to miss more action moving forward and Harper's status uncertain for Week 16, Hallett could be elevated again for the team's matchup with the Steelers.

Titans' Erick Hallett: Signs with Tennessee
The Titans signed Hallett to the active roster Tuesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Hallett was signed off the Lions' practice squad and played in three games for the team. The safety's most recent appearance in Week 15 netted a career-high 10 tackles (five solo) and one pass defensed. The 25-year-old slots into the Titans' defense as the backup free safety to Kendell Brooks, so he will likely not get as many opportunities as he did as a practice squad elevation for the Lions.

Erick Hallett: Let go by Detroit
The Lions waived Hallett on Saturday.
Hallett appeared in two regular-season games for the Lions, including one start, but he has not played since Week 7 against the Buccaneers. The third-year pro will look to join a team in need of depth in the secondary, assuming he clears waivers.

Jaguars' Erick Hallett: Joins Jacksonville secondary
The Jaguars selected Hallett in the sixth round of the NFL Draft, 208th overall.
It's interesting the Jaguars listed Hallett as a safety despite the Pittsburgh product seemingly undersized at 5-foot-10, 195 pounds. Hallett has some of the biggest hands of any draft-eligible secondary player and had plus-level athleticism in terms of three-cone (6.84) and vertical jump (37.5), but it's hard to tell if those traits will help him stand out in a Jaguars secondary that has added multiple pieces on Day 3.
