  • Colts' Alec Pierce: Sleeper WRs

Pierce doesn't have an easy matchup in Week 12 at Kansas City since the Chiefs are No. 8 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers, but I'm hopeful he will stay hot based on what he did prior to his bye in Week 11. Pierce has scored at least 14.8 PPR points in three of his past four games, including two in a row with at least 17.5 PPR points. He had 20 targets combined against the Steelers and Falcons in his past two outings, and he's become a go-to target for Daniel Jones. Michael Pittman should be considered a No. 2 Fantasy receiver in the majority of leagues, and Pierce is right behind him. I also like Josh Downs as a sleeper, and Downs has scored at least 11.4 PPR points in four of his past five games prior to Week 12.

  • Colts' Alec Pierce: Gets into end zone in win

Pierce brought in four of seven targets for 84 yards and a touchdown in the Colts' 31-25 overtime victory against the Falcons in Berlin on Sunday. Pierce finished second in receptions, receiving yards and targets for the Colts behind Tyler Warren while also catching Daniel Jones' one touchdown pass of the day from 37 yards out in the first quarter. It was the fourth-year pro's first score of the season, and Pierce now has at least 69 receiving yards in four consecutive contests. The 2022 second-round pick is enjoying his most consistent season yet, as he heads into the Week 11 bye having already posted a 28-585-1 receiving line through eight games with 10 catches of 20-plus yards.

  • Colts' Alec Pierce: Week 10 Waiver Priority List

Pierce had a great game in Week 9 at Pittsburgh with six catches for 115 yards on 13 targets. He's yet to score a touchdown this season, but he has at least 14.8 PPR points in two of his past three games. He's a good boom-or-bust No. 3 Fantasy receiver most weeks, but his targets will be inconsistent while sharing the field with Michael Pittman, Tyler Warren and Josh Downs. That said, he's the type of Fantasy receiver who could help you win a week when the matchup is right, and he's worth adding for at least 5-10 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Colts' Alec Pierce: Commands 13 targets

Pierce recorded six receptions on 13 targets for 115 yards in Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Steelers. Pierce was the beneficiary of Daniel Jones taking to the air 50 times, as he racked up a career-high 13 targets. Pierce began the game well, recording three catches for 64 yards on the Colts' first offensive possession. While he slowed from there until garbage time -- he racked up 43 yards in the final six minutes of the game -- Pierce still managed his first 100-yard performance since Week 17 of the 2024 campaign. Pierce also has a consistent role in the Colts' offense, recording at least 50 receiving yards in each of his last three games.

  • Colts' Alec Pierce: Sleeper WRs

Josh Downs (concussion) will play in Week 8 against Tennessee, but I still like Pierce as a No. 3 Fantasy receiver in all leagues. Against the Chargers in Week 7, Pierce had a season-high 10 targets, and he finished the game with five catches for 98 yards. He only had four catches for 67 yards on five targets against the Titans in Week 3, but Downs played in that contest. The Titans will be without cornerback L'Jarius Sneed (quadriceps), and this should be a good game for Michael Pittman, Downs, and Pierce. But Pierce, given his big-play potential, could be a league-winner in Week 8.

  • Colts' Alec Pierce: Gains 69 yards Sunday

Pierce had two receptions on five targets for 69 yards in Sunday's 38-14 win over the Titans. Pierce followed up a season-high 98 receiving yards in Week 7 with his second-highest total through six starts in 2025. Michael Pittman stole the show with a 8-95-1 receiving line in the win, but Pierce still left his mark on the contest with a game-high reception of 50 yards. Pierce is averaging 64.3 receiving yards per game this season, but a lack of scoring (zero touchdowns) holds him back from standard-league relevance against the Steelers next Sunday.

  • Colts' Alec Pierce: Season-best effort against Bolts

Pierce caught five of 10 targets for 98 yards in Sunday's 38-24 win over the Chargers. The fourth-year wideout paced the Colts in targets and receiving yards on the day as he works to build downfield chemistry with Daniel Jones. Pierce's catches, yards and targets were all season highs, and through five appearances this season he's posted a 16-317-0 line on 27 targets. He'll look to make an impact as a deep threat again in Week 8 against the Titans.

  • Colts' Alec Pierce: Two catches in return

Pierce brought in two of four targets for 48 yards in the Colts' 31-27 win over the Cardinals on Sunday. Pierce needed just the pair of grabs to finish second on the day in receiving yardage for the Colts. Pierce was making his return from a two-game absence due to a concussion, and the fourth-year pro finished with his third-highest receiving yardage total of the season. Pierce should fill his usual downfield role in a Week 7 road matchup against the Chargers.

  • Colts' Alec Pierce: Practices in full again

Pierce (concussion) was a full participant in Thursday's practice. Pierce has missed two straight games but has now logged back-to-back full practices sessions, so he appears to be nearing a return from the concussion protocol. Friday's practice figures to be key for Pierce, who will also need to gain clearance from an independent neurologist before being eligible to return to the starting lineup alongside Michael Pittman and Josh Downs. He's working to gain clearance in time for Sunday's matchup against the Cardinals.

  • Colts' Alec Pierce: Returns to full practice

Pierce (concussion) practiced fully Wednesday. Pierce, who has missed two straight contests, practiced fully last Wednesday and Thursday before downgrading to a 'DNP' listing Friday, so his return to a full session this Wednesday's bodes well for his chances of returning to action Sunday against the Cardinals. In that scenario, Pierce would be in line to reclaim his role alongside fellow WRs Michael Pittman and Josh Downs, which thus far has yielded him a 9/171/0 receiving receiving line (on 13 targets) through three contests.

  • Colts' Alec Pierce: Set to practice Wednesday

Pierce (concussion) is in line to practice Wednesday, James Boyd of The Athletic reports. Pierce has missed the last two games, but his looming ability to practice Wednesday is a positive step ahead of Sunday's game against the Cardinals. The wideout practiced fully last Wednesday and Thursday before downgrading to a 'DNP' listing Friday, so his level of participation as the Colts begin their Week 6 preparation will be notable.

  • Colts' Alec Pierce: Won't play Sunday

Pierce (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Raiders, Amanda Foster of the Colts' official site reports. Though Pierce practiced fully Wednesday and Thursday, coach Shane Steichen noted Friday that the wideout had a setback, per James Boyd of The Athletic. Pierce remains in the concussion protocol and is set to miss his second straight game, so look for Michael Pittman (hamstring) and Josh Downs to lead the Colts' Week 5 WR corps, with Adonai Mitchell, Ashton Dulin and Anthony Gould representing the team's other healthy options at the position.

  • Colts' Alec Pierce: Another full practice

Pierce (concussion) practiced fully Thursday. Back-to-back full sessions have Pierce trending toward returning from his one-game absence, though the Colts' final injury report of the week will be released Friday and will reveal whether he carries a designation into Sunday's game against the Raiders. Meanwhile, fellow wideout Michael Pittman (hamstring) was added to the Colts' injury report after logging a limited practice Thursday.

  • Colts' Alec Pierce: Logs full practice

Pierce (concussion) practiced fully Wednesday. Pierce didn't practice last week before being ruled out for this past Sunday's loss to the Rams, but his full participation Wednesday has him trending toward a return to action this weekend against the Raiders. With that in mind, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star noted that Pierce -- who has recorded a 9/171/0 receiving line on 13 targets through three games -- sported a blue jersey during Wednesday's session, a sign that the wideout is in the final step of the NFL's concussion protocol.

  • Colts' Alec Pierce: Will practice Wednesday

Coach Shane Steichen said Pierce (concussion) will practice Wednesday, James Boyd of The Athletic reports. It's unclear if Pierce remains in the concussion protocol after being deemed inactive for the Colts' Week 3 loss to the Rams, but his return to practice Wednesday suggests Pierce has a good chance to play Sunday against the Raiders. He would resume his role on the outside as the Colts' primary deep threat after Adonai Mitchell blundered away a walk-in touchdown against Los Angeles.

  • Colts' Alec Pierce: Ruled out by Colts

Pierce (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Rams, Amanda Foster of the Colts' official site reports. At this stage, Pierce remains in the NFL's concussion protocol, so his next chance to see game action will arrive Sunday, Oct. 5 against the Raiders. In Pierce's absence Sunday, Adonai Mitchell figures to see an expanded Week 4 role alongside fellow WRs Michael Pittman and Josh Downs.

  • Colts' Alec Pierce: Remains absent Thursday

Pierce (concussion) remained sidelined for Thursday's practice, James Boyd of The Athletic reports. Pierce was concussed last Sunday against the Titans and will be facing an uphill battle to clear the league's concussion protocol in time to play this Sunday against the Rams. If Pierce is unable to go, Adonai Mitchell should slide into three-wide sets alongside Michael Pittman and slot man Josh Downs.

  • Colts' Alec Pierce: Not practicing Wednesday

Pierce (concussion) won't practice Wednesday, James Boyd of The Athletic reports. Pierce, who sustained a concussion during this past Sunday's game against the Titans, thus has two more opportunities to practice ahead of this weekend's contest against the Rams. In the event that Pierce isn't cleared for Week 4 action, Adonai Mitchell and Ashton Dulin would be in line for added snaps alongside fellow WRs Michael Pittman and Josh Downs.

  • Colts' Alec Pierce: Exits Sunday's contest

Pierce exited Sunday's game against the Titans to be evaluated for a concussion. Before his departure, Pierce caught four of his five targets for 67 yards. In his absence, Adonai Mitchell, Ashton Dulin and Anthony Gould are candidates to log added snaps behind Michael Pittman and Josh Downs.

  • Colts' Alec Pierce: One long catch in season debut

Pierce had one reception for 36 yards on three targets in Sunday's win over Miami. Pierce started at wideout opposite Michael Pittman and played the most snaps (60) of any receiver, but he was far behind the leaders in targets (Michael Pittman with eight and Tyler Warren with nine). Pierce looks to be mostly a deep threat in the offense and may be a boom-or-bust candidate for fantasy purposes.
