  • Titans' Chig Okonkwo: Strong PPR results Sudnay

Okonkwo finished with six receptions on as many targets for 46 yards in Sunday's 20-10 loss to the Raiders. Okonkwo's six targets Sunday tied his previous season high, while the six grabs set a new high-water mark through six starts. Aside from a one-catch dud in Week 4, the veteran tight end has carved out a consistent role in the passing game. Okonkwo will carry a 23-218-0 receiving line into next Sunday's tilt against the Patriots.

  • Titans' Chig Okonkwo: Solid showing against Arizona

Okonkwo recorded four receptions on five targets for 48 yards in Sunday's 22-21 win over the Cardinals. Okonkwo remained a relatively steady part of the Tennessee offense, and Sunday's performance marked his third game with at least four catches. His most significant contribution came late in the fourth quarter on a 16-yard catch that helped push the Titans into field-goal range. Gunnar Helm is pushing for a bigger role in the team's offense, but Okonkwo has still played more than 60 percent of offensive snaps in every game this season.

  • Titans' Chig Okonkwo: Four yards on three targets

Okonkwo recorded one catch on three targets for four yards in Sunday's 26-0 loss to the Texans. Cam Ward's struggles continued, as he completed only 38.5 percent of his passes while passing for 108 yards. No skill-position player on Tennessee's roster was able to excel as a result, and Okonkwo was no exception. The tight end leads the team in catches with 13 and is third in targets with 19, but that volume has resulted in only 124 receiving yards and zero TDs through four games.

  • Titans' Chigoziem Okonkwo: Week 4 Waiver Priority List

Okonkwo had a solid game in Week 3 against Indianapolis with five catches for 66 yards on six targets, and he got six targets in each of the past two games against the Rams and Colts. He's becoming a reliable target for Cam Ward, and Okonkwo is worth a look in deeper leagues as a streamer heading into Week 4 at Houston. You can add Okonkwo for 1 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Titans' Chig Okonkwo: Leads Tennessee pass catchers

Okonkwo recorded five receptions (on six targets) for 66 yards in Sunday's 41-20 loss to the Colts. Okonkwo paced the Titans in targets, receptions and yards and continues to show rapport with Cam Ward. His longest catch of the day came on the team's opening possession, when he recorded a gain of 22 yards to set up a field goal. Okonkwo has four catches and six targets in each of his last two games, leading to a 12-120-0 line on 16 targets to begin the season.

  • Titans' Chig Okonkwo: Makes four catches in loss

Okonkwo recorded four receptions on six targets for 35 yards in Sunday's 33-19 loss to the Rams. Okonkwo tied for the team lead with six targets, though he couldn't match Elic Ayomanor or Calvin Ridley in their ability to generate yards. Okonkwo was targeted in short areas of the field, though he did manage a long gain of 14 yards. He may start to lose playing time to Gunnar Helm as the season progresses, but Okonkwo has commanded a solid 10 targets across the first two games of the campaign.

  • Titans' Chig Okonkwo: Catches one pass from Ward

Okonkwo caught his only target for 10 yards in Saturday's 29-7 preseason loss to the Buccaneers. Okonkwo's lone catch came on a pass from rookie first overall pick Cameron Ward, who played two drives. Okonkwo appears to be locked in atop Tennessee's tight end depth chart, ahead of rookie fourth-round pick Gunnar Helm and last year's backup Josh Whyle. Tennessee's starters may see more extensive action in the team's second preseason game Friday against the Falcons.

  • Titans' Chig Okonkwo: Displaying chemistry with Ward

Okonkwo caught the most passes of any player during Tennessee's five open practices of OTAs and mandatory minicamp, and he already appears to have developed a rapport with rookie quarterback Cam Ward, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports. Okonkwo's three seasons in the league thus far have been similar, as he's now started slow, finished strong, played all 17 regular-season games and floated around the 500-yard range each year since joining the Titans in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Tennessee added TE Gunnar Helm in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, but even with more competition for snaps there's reason for optimism that improved quarterback play from Ward, the No. 1 overall pick, will pave the way for Okonkwo's production to finally take a step forward. The 6-foot-3, 238-pound tight end lacks prototypical size but boasts rare speed and YAC ability for his position. Tennessee doesn't have an entrenched No. 2 option in the passing game behind top wideout Calvin Ridley, as Tyler Lockett, Treylon Burks (ACL) and Van Jefferson plus a pair of rookie fourth-rounders in Chimere Dikeand Elic Ayomanor close out the wide receiver room. If he continues building momentum during training camp, it's not inconceivable that Okonkwo could secure that role.

  • Titans' Chig Okonkwo: Limited snaps to close season

Okonkwo was not targeted in Sunday's 23-14 loss to the Texans. Okonkwo popped up on the injury report Thursday with an abdominal injury and didn't practice at all Friday. While he ended up being active in Week 18, he played only three offensive snaps. Even with the sour finish to the campaign, Okonkwo emerged late in the season by accruing 28 receptions for 217 yards on 38 targets over the prior five games. With improved quarterback play in 2025, Okonkwo could be in line for better results.

  • Titans' Chig Okonkwo: Suiting up for finale

Okonkwo is active for Sunday's game against the Texans. Okonkwo popped up on the injury report in the middle of the week, and there was some concern about his status after he failed to practice Friday. However, he'll be set to suit up and has seen increased involvement in the Tennessee offense to close the season, commanding a combined 28 targets across his last three games. With Tyler Boyd (foot) sidelined, Okonkwo should have a better chance of maintaining his elevated role.

  • Titans' Chigoziem Okonkwo: Sleepers (Start/Sit)

I'm slightly concerned about the Titans saying that both Mason Rudolph and Will Levis will play in Week 18 against the Texans, but hopefully both quarterbacks know to continue to feature Okonkwo. He has at least seven targets in three games in a row, and he scored at least 10.9 PPR points in each outing over that span. He had one catch for a 70-yard touchdown in Week 12 at Houston, and the Texans have allowed five tight ends to score at least 8.0 PPR points in their past five games, with three touchdowns. Okonkwo should again be considered a No. 1 Fantasy tight end in all leagues.

  • Titans' Chig Okonkwo: Remains heavily involved

Okonkwo recorded five receptions on seven targets for 42 yards in Sunday's 20-13 loss to the Jaguars. He added one rush for 17 yards. Okonkwo maintained his elevated role in the Tennessee offense and led the team in targets for a third straight game. His longest catch went for 18 yards, but he was otherwise limited to short areas of the field to record his lowest yardage total in that same three-game span. Okonkwo's spike in involvement comes as a surprise given his usage throughout most of his career, but he figures to remain involved in a Week 18 matchup against the Texans.

  • Titans' Chigoziem Okonkwo: TEs to Start

It could be risky to trust Okonkwo given the limited sample size, but it's hard to overlook his involvement in the past two games against Cincinnati and Indianapolis. He has 21 targets over that span with 17 catches for 140 yards, and he scored at least 13.9 PPR points in each outing. The Jaguars are No. 7 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends, and three tight ends in the past six games against Jacksonville have scored at least 15.2 PPR points. I like Okonkwo as a No. 1 Fantasy tight end in all leagues.

  • Titans' Chigoziem Okonkwo: Season-best numbers in loss

Okonkwo secured nine of 11 targets for 81 yards in the Titans' 38-30 loss to the Colts on Sunday. He also caught a pass on a two-point conversion. The talented tight end had already recorded six catches in Week 15 against the Bengals after Mason Rudolph entered that game for an ineffective Will Levis, so Sunday's team-high reception, receiving yardage and target totals weren't completely surprising. However, Okonkwo's numbers were still a significant boon for fantasy managers that might have been rolling with him in their playoff matchups with the hopes of an encore performance, and the third-year pro is clearly a viable tight end option as long as Rudolph is under center.

  • Titans' Chigoziem Okonkwo: Week 16 Waiver Priority List

Okonkwo had a solid game in Week 15 against Cincinnati with eight catches for 59 yards on 10 targets, and hopefully, the Titans continue to feature him in a great matchup against the Colts in Week 16. I'd like it better for Okonkwo if Mason Rudolph starts in place of Will Levis, and Okonkwo does have 20 targets in his past three games overall. Indianapolis is No. 3 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends, and four tight ends in the past two games have scored at least 8.5 PPR points against the Colts coming into Week 16. Okonkwo is worth using as a low-end starter in most leagues.

  • Titans' Chigoziem Okonkwo: Surprising spike in involvement

Okonkwo recorded eight catches (on 10 targets) for 59 yards in Sunday's 37-27 loss to the Bengals. Okonkwo was on the field for only 60 percent of offensive snaps, but he was peppered with targets by both Will Levis and Mason Rudolph. As a result, Okonkwo saw a career-best 10 targets and managed to reach 50 receiving yards for the third time this season. Though this was an outlier performance, he's earned at least four targets in three straight games and in seven of his last nine contests.

  • Titans' Chigoziem Okonkwo: Eight yards on three catches

Okonkwo recorded three catches (on four targets) for eight yards in Sunday's 10-6 loss to the Jaguars. Okonkwo remained Tennessee's primary tight end, as he was on the field for 73 percent of offensive snaps while finishing tied for second on the team with four targets. He caught a 10-yard pass early in the second quarter but otherwise didn't make much of an impact on the game. Okonkwo now has 20 or fewer receiving yards in nine of 13 games on the campaign.

  • Titans' Chigoziem Okonkwo: Season-high six targets

Okonkwo recorded three receptions (on six targets) for 27 yards in Sunday's 42-19 loss to the Commanders. Okonkwo saw a season-high six targets and matched his highest catch total of the campaign. He was used primarily in the short areas of the field, with his longest gain going for 14 yards. Nevertheless, he surpassed 20 receiving yards in consecutive games for the first time on the campaign.

  • Titans' Chigoziem Okonkwo: Makes most of lone target

Okonkwo recorded one catch on one target for 70 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 32-27 win over the Texans. Okonkwo wasn't targeted for the first 50 minutes of game time, but he found open space after a short catch and out-ran the Texans' secondary for a 70-yard game-winning touchdown. That marked Okonwo's first touchdown since Week 1 and is only the second time he's reached 50 yards in a game on the campaign.

  • Titans' Chigoziem Okonkwo: Tallies 19 yards in defeat

Okonkwo recorded two receptions (on four targets) for 19 yards in Sunday's 23-13 loss to the Vikings. Okonkwo commanded at least four targets for the fourth time in his last five games. He made a limited impact in Sunday's loss, particularly because both of his receptions came on Tennessee's opening drive. Okonkwo now has recorded fewer than 20 receiving yards in eight of 10 games on the campaign.
