  • Titans' Chigoziem Okonkwo: Sleeper TEs

Chimere Dike (chest) is cleared to play Sunday against the Seahawks, but Elic Ayomanor (hamstring) is out, while Calvin Ridley (leg) is done for the season. Okonkwo and Gunnar Helm could be thrust into bigger roles against Seattle, and this is a good matchup since the Seahawks are No. 5 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends. Okonkwo just had three catches for 56 yards on three targets against the Texans in Week 11, and Helm had four catches for 29 yards on five targets. I like Okonkwo better than Helm, but both are worth a look in deeper leagues as sleepers.

  • Titans' Chig Okonkwo: Cleared to face Seahawks

Okonkwo (foot) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Seahawks. Okonkwo was limited in all three of Seattle's practices during the week but has the green light to suit up Sunday. He has 119 receiving yards on 12 targets over the past four games, while rookie fourth-round pick Gunnar Helm has 103 yards and a touchdown on 14 targets during that span. Both Titans tight ends could see substantial involvement Sunday with the team depleted at wide receiver against a Seahawks defense that's allowing a league-high 6.7 receptions per game to tight ends.

  • Titans' Chig Okonkwo: Another limited practice

Okonkwo (foot) was limited in practice Thursday. Okonkwo managed to play through his foot injury Week 11 without being tagged with an injury designation, so as long as he's able to log at least another limited session Friday, he will have strong odds of being cleared for Sunday's game against the Seahawks. Across 10 regular-season appearances so far, Okonkwo has secured 32 of 42 targets for 337 receiving yards, but he's still looking for his first touchdown of 2025.

  • Titans' Chig Okonkwo: Logs limited practice Wednesday

Okonkwo (foot) was limited in practice Wednesday. Okonkwo continues to manage a foot issue that limited him at practice last week, but the tight end approached Week 11 action without an injury designation before catching all three of his targets for 56 yards in this past Sunday's 16-13 loss to the Texans. With no reported setbacks in the contest, Okonkwo's listed limitations Wednesday are likely maintenance-related.

  • Titans' Chigoziem Okonkwo: Week 12 Waiver Priority List

The Titans are dealing with three injuries at receiver with Calvin Ridley (leg) out for the season, as well as Chimere Dike (chest) and Elic Ayomanor (hamstring) also getting hurt in Week 11 against Houston. Okonkwo and Gunnar Helm (2 percent rostered) could be thrust into bigger roles in Week 12 against Seattle, and this is a good matchup since the Seahawks are No. 5 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends. Okonkwo just had three catches for 56 yards on three targets against the Texans, and Helm had four catches for 29 yards on five targets. I like Okonkwo better than Helm, but both are worth a look in deeper leagues for 1 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Titans' Chig Okonkwo: Three catches in loss

Okonkwo caught all three of his targets for 56 yards in Sunday's 16-13 loss to Houston. Okonkwo led the way for his team with 56 receiving yards, which was his highest total since Week 3. The tight end has now registered multiple receptions in three straight contests and eight of 10 games overall this season, but he has still yet to find the end zone. Okonkwo will look to find paydirt in Week 12 against the Seahawks.

  • Titans' Chig Okonkwo: Cleared to face Texans

Okonkwo (foot) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Texans, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. Okonkwo was limited in all three of Tennessee's practices coming out of a Week 10 bye, but his status for Sunday's game isn't in doubt. Rookie fourth-round pick Gunnar Helm has been pushing Okonkwo for playing time, and the Titans may generally struggle to move the ball against a Houston defense that's allowing a league-low 16.7 points per game.

  • Titans' Chig Okonkwo: Limited in practice again

Okonkwo (foot) was limited in practice Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. Okonkwo has been limited in each of Tennessee's first practices of Week 11, meaning Friday will be his final opportunity to upgrade his activity level. As long as Okonkwo is able to again handle at least limited reps Friday, though, it stands to reason he'll be able to play through his foot injury versus the Texans on Sunday. He toughed out the issue Week 9 versus the Chargers, after which the Titans benefited from a bye.

  • Titans' Chig Okonkwo: Limited opportunity in loss

Okonkwo recorded two receptions on two targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Chargers. The Titans ran only 44 plays and attempted just 21 passes, limiting volume for all of their offensive skill-position players. Okonkwo was one of the affected pass catchers, as he was targeted only twice to match his lowest mark of the season. He remains a key part of the Tennessee offense, but his results are likely to remain inconsistent given the poor state of the unit.

  • Titans' Chig Okonkwo: Cleared to play Sunday

Okonkwo (foot) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Chargers. Okonkwo was able to log a full practice Friday. Splitting snaps with Gunnar Helm at tight end, Okonkwo has produced just a 27-271-0 receiving line through eight games this season. He's not a recommended fantasy target.

  • Titans' Chig Okonkwo: Logs limited practice

Okonkwo (foot) was limited in practice Wednesday. Okonkwo put together a solid performance during Tennessee's loss to the Colts in Week 8, securing four of five targets for 53 yards, but he appears to have picked up a foot injury in the process. The starting tight end will have two more chances to upgrade to full practice reps ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Chargers. If Okonkwo is limited in any capacity versus Los Angeles, or even unavailable, rookie fourth-round pick Gunnar Helm will stand to see a notable uptick in opportunities.

  • Titans' Chig Okonkwo: Strong PPR results Sunday

Okonkwo finished with six receptions on as many targets for 46 yards in Sunday's 20-10 loss to the Raiders. Okonkwo's six targets Sunday tied his previous season high, while the six grabs set a new high-water mark through six starts. Aside from a one-catch dud in Week 4, the veteran tight end has carved out a consistent role in the passing game. Okonkwo will carry a 23-218-0 receiving line into next Sunday's tilt against the Patriots.

  • Titans' Chig Okonkwo: Four yards on three targets

Okonkwo recorded one catch on three targets for four yards in Sunday's 26-0 loss to the Texans. Cam Ward's struggles continued, as he completed only 38.5 percent of his passes while passing for 108 yards. No skill-position player on Tennessee's roster was able to excel as a result, and Okonkwo was no exception. The tight end leads the team in catches with 13 and is third in targets with 19, but that volume has resulted in only 124 receiving yards and zero TDs through four games.

  • Titans' Chig Okonkwo: Leads Tennessee pass catchers

Okonkwo recorded five receptions (on six targets) for 66 yards in Sunday's 41-20 loss to the Colts. Okonkwo paced the Titans in targets, receptions and yards and continues to show rapport with Cam Ward. His longest catch of the day came on the team's opening possession, when he recorded a gain of 22 yards to set up a field goal. Okonkwo has four catches and six targets in each of his last two games, leading to a 12-120-0 line on 16 targets to begin the season.

  • Titans' Chig Okonkwo: Catches one pass from Ward

Okonkwo caught his only target for 10 yards in Saturday's 29-7 preseason loss to the Buccaneers. Okonkwo's lone catch came on a pass from rookie first overall pick Cameron Ward, who played two drives. Okonkwo appears to be locked in atop Tennessee's tight end depth chart, ahead of rookie fourth-round pick Gunnar Helm and last year's backup Josh Whyle. Tennessee's starters may see more extensive action in the team's second preseason game Friday against the Falcons.

  • Titans' Chig Okonkwo: Displaying chemistry with Ward

Okonkwo caught the most passes of any player during Tennessee's five open practices of OTAs and mandatory minicamp, and he already appears to have developed a rapport with rookie quarterback Cam Ward, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports. Okonkwo's three seasons in the league thus far have been similar, as he's now started slow, finished strong, played all 17 regular-season games and floated around the 500-yard range each year since joining the Titans in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Tennessee added TE Gunnar Helm in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, but even with more competition for snaps there's reason for optimism that improved quarterback play from Ward, the No. 1 overall pick, will pave the way for Okonkwo's production to finally take a step forward. The 6-foot-3, 238-pound tight end lacks prototypical size but boasts rare speed and YAC ability for his position. Tennessee doesn't have an entrenched No. 2 option in the passing game behind top wideout Calvin Ridley, as Tyler Lockett, Treylon Burks (ACL) and Van Jefferson plus a pair of rookie fourth-rounders in Chimere Dikeand Elic Ayomanor close out the wide receiver room. If he continues building momentum during training camp, it's not inconceivable that Okonkwo could secure that role.

  • Titans' Chig Okonkwo: Limited snaps to close season

Okonkwo was not targeted in Sunday's 23-14 loss to the Texans. Okonkwo popped up on the injury report Thursday with an abdominal injury and didn't practice at all Friday. While he ended up being active in Week 18, he played only three offensive snaps. Even with the sour finish to the campaign, Okonkwo emerged late in the season by accruing 28 receptions for 217 yards on 38 targets over the prior five games. With improved quarterback play in 2025, Okonkwo could be in line for better results.

  • Titans' Chig Okonkwo: Suiting up for finale

Okonkwo is active for Sunday's game against the Texans. Okonkwo popped up on the injury report in the middle of the week, and there was some concern about his status after he failed to practice Friday. However, he'll be set to suit up and has seen increased involvement in the Tennessee offense to close the season, commanding a combined 28 targets across his last three games. With Tyler Boyd (foot) sidelined, Okonkwo should have a better chance of maintaining his elevated role.

  • Titans' Chigoziem Okonkwo: Sleepers (Start/Sit)

I'm slightly concerned about the Titans saying that both Mason Rudolph and Will Levis will play in Week 18 against the Texans, but hopefully both quarterbacks know to continue to feature Okonkwo. He has at least seven targets in three games in a row, and he scored at least 10.9 PPR points in each outing over that span. He had one catch for a 70-yard touchdown in Week 12 at Houston, and the Texans have allowed five tight ends to score at least 8.0 PPR points in their past five games, with three touchdowns. Okonkwo should again be considered a No. 1 Fantasy tight end in all leagues.

  • Titans' Chig Okonkwo: Remains heavily involved

Okonkwo recorded five receptions on seven targets for 42 yards in Sunday's 20-13 loss to the Jaguars. He added one rush for 17 yards. Okonkwo maintained his elevated role in the Tennessee offense and led the team in targets for a third straight game. His longest catch went for 18 yards, but he was otherwise limited to short areas of the field to record his lowest yardage total in that same three-game span. Okonkwo's spike in involvement comes as a surprise given his usage throughout most of his career, but he figures to remain involved in a Week 18 matchup against the Texans.
