Brodric Martin: Dropped by Las Vegas
Martin (undisclosed) was waived from the Raiders' IR with an injury settlement Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
The 2023 third-round pick from Western Kentucky has appeared in just six regular-season games throughout his three years in the NFL, playing for the Lions (five contests) and Steelers (one contest). Following an injury settlement with the Raiders, Martin is free to sign elsewhere once he fully recovers.

A 2023 third-round pick, Martin has played in just six regular-season games through three seasons. Unless he reaches an injury settlement with the Raiders, Martin will spend the entire 2026 season on IR.

Las Vegas waived Martin (undisclosed) with an injury designation Wednesday.
It's not immediately clear what kind of injury Martin suffered, but he'll now be exposed to waivers. If he goes unclaimed, he'll have to spend the entire 2026 season on IR unless he works out an injury settlement with the club. He appeared in just one game with Pittsburgh in 2025, logging 10 defensive snaps in Week 13 versus the Bills.

Raiders' Brodric Martin: Bound for Sin City
The Raiders claimed Martin off waivers from the Steelers on Friday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Martin will be with his third team of the season after spending time with the Chiefs and Steelers. His lone regular-season appearance came in the Steelers' Week 13 loss to the Bills, when he logged 12 snaps (10 on defense, two on special teams) without showing up in the box score otherwise.

Martin limped off the field after being checked out with trainers and was diagnosed with a hyperextension, per Kyle Meinke of MLive.com. The 2023 third-round pick is battling for a depth spot at defensive tackle behind presumptive starters Alim McNeill and DJ Reader (quadriceps).
