  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy Jr.: RBs to Sit

Tracy easily had his best game of the season in Week 11 against Green Bay with 19 carries for 88 yards and four catches for 51 yards on four targets. Hopefully, interim coach Mike Kafka will continue to lean on Tracy, but he has a brutal matchup in Week 12 at Detroit. The Lions are No. 1 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs, and only four guys this season have scored at least 12 PPR points, including none since Week 4. Devin Singletary will also impact Tracy's production, and I would consider both Giants' running backs as flex options at best in Week 12 at Detroit.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Breakout performance in loss

Tracy rushed 19 times for 88 yards and brought in all four targets for 51 yards in the Giants' 27-20 loss to the Packers on Sunday. Tracy was given the chance to pace the ground attack in interim head coach Mike Kafka's first game at the helm, and the second-year pro responded with his best all-around performance of the campaign. With Sunday's performance, Tracy eclipsed what was then a season-high 71 rushing yards he'd posted in Week 10 against the Bears, and he also finished with a season high in receiving yards. Given Sunday's results, Tracy figures to remain in the top role during a Week 12 road matchup against the Lions despite the fact backfield mate Devin Singletary was also effective with two rushing touchdowns on 16 carries.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy Jr.: RBs to Sit

I love that Jameis Winston and not Russell Wilson will start for the Giants if Jaxson Dart (concussion) is out in Week 11 at Green Bay. The offense has the chance to be explosive with Winston under center, but I'm not sure that will benefit Tracy, who is just a flex option at best in deeper leagues. In two games without Cam Skattebo (ankle), Tracy has combined for 19 carries for 89 yards, which is a positive, but he has no touchdowns and just four catches for 19 yards on six targets. Over that same span, Devin Singletary had 16 carries for 63 yards and five catches for 61 yards on five targets. Singletary should continue to get more work in the passing game, and we'll see what happens at the goal line. This is also a difficult matchup against the Packers, who are No. 6 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs. I would start Singletary ahead of Tracy in the majority of leagues, but I'd like to avoid both if possible against Green Bay.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Team's leading rusher in Week 10

Tracy rushed 14 times for 71 yards and caught one of two targets for no gain in Sunday's 24-20 loss to the Bears. Neither Tracy nor Devin Singletary found any running room in the first half, but Tracy was far more effective on the ground in the second half, while Singletary finished the game with just eight carries for 20 yards. Quarterback Jaxson Dart carried the offense prior to departing due to a concussion to end the third quarter. If the Giants are forced to turn to Russell Wilson under center in Week 11, the entire offense's ceiling would be lower against a stout Packers defense, though Tracy's arrow is pointing up with the backfield workload distribution shifting in his favor.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy Jr.: RBs to Sit

I had high hopes for Tracy heading into Week 9 against San Francisco in the first game without Cam Skattebo (ankle), but Devin Singletary had the better performance with 10 touches for 51 total yards compared to eight touches for 37 total yards. Singletary also played more snaps (32-25), and the coaching staff might prefer him to Tracy moving forward. This isn't a daunting matchup against the Bears, but if Tracy is stuck in the bottom half of a time share then he's just a flex option at best. I would rather use Singletary ahead of Tracy in this game.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Out-touched 10-8 by Singletary

Tracy rushed five times for 18 yards and caught three of four targets for 19 yards in Sunday's 34-24 loss to the 49ers. Tracy ceded the slight majority of work to Devin Singletary, who turned 10 touches into 51 scrimmage yards. Tracy worked ahead of Singletary for most of the former's rookie season in 2024, but the Giants may employ a more even split in 2025 following Cam Skattebo's season-ending ankle injury. The workload distribution between Tracy and Singletary will remain worth monitoring in Week 10 against the Bears.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy Jr.: RBs to Start

Tracy will start for the Giants with Cam Skattebo (ankle) out for the season, and hopefully Tracy can perform like Skattebo did before his injury. He scored at least 13 PPR points in seven games in a row, and Tracy should be considered a No. 2 Fantasy running back in the majority of leagues. In 2024, Tracy closed the season with at least 14.5 PPR points in three of his final six games, and he should be able to produce at that level once again. And the 49ers have allowed a running back to score at least 15.1 PPR points in five games in a row coming into Week 9.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy Jr.: Week 8 Adds (RB Preview)

Tracy has a huge opportunity with Cam Skattebo out. Jaxson Dart has thrown 17.9% of his passes to running backs since he took over and SKattebo was averaging 18.75 rush attempts per game. Devin Singletary will work in, but Tracy should be the clear lead back against a San Francisco defense that looks nothing like the defense we were expecting this year. If you are desperate for running back and fighting for a playoff spot, Tracy is worth whatever FAB you have left.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy Jr.: Week 9 Waiver Priority List

Cam Skattebo (ankle) is out for the season after getting hurt in Week 8 at Philadelphia, and Tracy will now be the No. 1 running back for the Giants. He's worth adding in all leagues for at least 50 percent of your remaining FAB, if not more. After Skattebo was injured against the Eagles, Tracy had 10 carries for 39 yards and two catches for 14 yards on three targets. He's struggled so far this season in tandem with Skattebo, but Tracy scored at least 14.5 PPR points in three of his final six games in 2024 as a rookie. This Giants offense is better than last year's version, and Skattebo scored at least 13 PPR points in six games in a row prior to Week 8. I'm hopeful Tracy can perform like a low-end starter for the remainder of the season, but we also have to see what happens with Devin Singletary (2 percent rostered), who should remain involved and is worth adding for 1 percent of your remaining FAB in deeper leagues. That said, Tracy has plenty of upside, so add him in all leagues where available.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Giants' RB1 after Skattebo injury

Tracy rushed 10 times for 39 yards and caught two of three targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 38-20 loss to the Eagles. Tracy didn't get many opportunities with the Giants playing from behind, but he's set to work as the top option in the backfield moving forward after Cam Skattebo departed in the first half due to a season-ending dislocated ankle. Devin Singletary could also factor in at running back, but Tracy worked ahead of Singletary for most of the 2024 season, during which Tracy exceeded 100 rushing yards three times. Up next for Tracy and the Giants is a Week 9 home game against the 49ers.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Distant No. 2 behind Skattebo

Tracy rushed four times for six yards and wasn't targeted in Thursday's 34-17 win over the Eagles. Tracy returned from a two-game absence due to a shoulder injury but ceded the vast majority of backfield opportunities to Cam Skattebo, who turned 21 touches into 110 yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns. Tracy was on the field for 21 offensive snaps compared to only four for Devin Singletary, but Skattebo led the backfield with 49 snaps in addition to getting the lion's share of rushing opportunities. With Skattebo finding success in a workhorse role, Tracy likely will be relegated to a change-of-pace role moving forward.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Cleared to face Eagles

Tracy (shoulder) does not carry an injury designation for Thursday's matchup against Philadelphia, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports. Tracy was estimated as a limited participant at practice Monday and Tuesday, but he's now set to return from his two-game absence and take the field for Thursday Night Football. Rookie fourth-round pick Cam Skattebo has emerged as the Giants' lead back and has tallied at least 90 scrimmage yards in three consecutive contests, but he's also handled a tremendous workload, so Tracy could handle significant touches even if he operates in a clear reserve capacity versus the Eagles. Devin Singletary is also available behind Skattebo and Tracy.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Estimated as limited Monday

Tracy (shoulder) was estimated as a limited participant on Monday's practice report, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports. Tracy returned to practice last Friday and appears to be nearing a return after missing the Giants' past two contests following his shoulder injury Week 3 against the Chiefs. During Tracy's absence, Cam Skattebo has started each of the last two games and has totaled 40-138-0 rushing and 8-56-0 on nine targets out of the backfield. Skattebo lost a critical fumble at the goal line in Sunday's loss to the Saints and hasn't shown enough to slam the door on Tracy regaining his role as the team's RB1 upon his return.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Remains absent from practice

Giants head coach Brian Daboll said that Tracy (shoulder) won't practice Thursday, Evan Barnes of Newsday reports. Tracy has yet to resume practicing since dislocated his right shoulder in the Giants' 22-9 loss to the Chiefs on Sept. 21. With reports suggesting that Tracy will need 2-to-4 weeks to make a full recovery from the injury, he's on track to miss a second straight game Sunday in New Orleans, though the running back could have a shot at playing in the Giants' Week 6 matchup with the Eagles next Thursday. Tracy's upcoming absence this weekend should once again clear the way for rookie Cam Skattebo to take on a leading role out of the backfield.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Absent from practice Wednesday

Tracy (shoulder) is not practicing Wednesday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports. Tracy's shoulder injury forced him to sit out Week 4, and reports suggest that he'll be sidelined multiple games. With all expectations being that Tracy again sits out Week 5, Devin Singletary will get another opportunity to contribute as the No. 2 running back behind rookie Cam Skattebo. After that, Tracy will face a short turnaround to attempt to take the field on Thursday Night Football against the Eagles in Week 6.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Ruled out for Week 4

Tracy (shoulder) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Chargers, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports. The Giants waited until Friday to rule Tracy out, even though reports suggest he'll miss multiple games. Cam Skattebo took 69 percent of snaps after Tracy's early departure from the Week 3 loss to Kansas City, finishing the night with 16 touches for 121 yards and a touchdown. Devin Singletary had just four carries for 11 yards, but there's some chance he'll be more involved now that the Giants had time to prepare for Tracy's absence.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Not practicing

Tracy (shoulder) isn't practicing Friday, Evan Barnes of Newsday reports. Tracy hasn't practiced since making an early exit from a Week 3 loss to Kansas City. Rookie Cam Skattebo figures to lead the Giants backfield again this Sunday against the Chargers, with Devin Singletary easing into the No. 2 role.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: DNP on Wednesday

Tracy (shoulder) didn't take part in Wednesday's practice, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site rpeorts. Tracy exited this past Sunday's loss to the Chiefs in the first quarter due to a shoulder injury, which was revealed to be a dislocation one day later. Adam Schefter of ESPN reported Tuesday that Tracy is expected to miss 2-to-4 weeks, and the running back's absence Wednesday is the first step in advance of him getting ruled out ahead of or being inactive for Sunday's game against the Chargers. Rookie fourth-round pick Cam Skattebo figures to handle a healthy portion of the Giants' backfield reps moving forward, but Devin Singletary also is on hand for any snaps and touches that linger.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Could miss 2-4 weeks

Tracy, who suffered a dislocated shoulder Sunday, is expected to be sidelined two to four weeks, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Per Dan Salomone and Matt Citak of the Giants' official site, coach Brian Daboll noted Monday that the team was still in the process of getting more information about the running back's injury, but it looks like Tracy is going to miss some time. In that scenario, added backfield reps, beginning this weekend against the Chargers, would be available for Cam Skattebo and Devin Singletary.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Injures shoulder on SNF

Tracy exited Sunday night's game against the Chiefs with a right shoulder injury and is questionable to return, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports. Tracy took a swing pass from Russell Wilson to the left sideline and collided with Jaylen Watson, taking the brunt of the blow to his right shoulder. Tracy stayed on the ground and immediately started grabbing at his shoulder before heading to the locker room with the training staff. With Tracy out of the game, Cam Skattebo and Devin Singletary will handle backfield duties for the G-Men.
