  • Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Won't play Week 9

Bobo (Achilles) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Commanders, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports. Bobo was listed on Thursday's practice report as a limited participant due to an Achilles injury. He was unable to practice Friday, and the third-year wideout will end up missing his second game of the season, though head coach Mike Macdonald clarified that Bobo's Achilles issue isn't a rupture or tear, per Dugar. The Seahawks have ruled out both Bobo and Dareke Young (hip) and have listed Cooper Kupp (heel/hamstring) as questionable, so Seattle will likely elevate at least one of Ricky White, Cody White, Courtney Jackson and Tyrone Broden from the practice squad to the active roster for Week 9.

  • Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Limited Thursday

Bobo (Achilles) was a limited participant in practice Thursday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. The wide receiver did not appear on Wednesday's injury report, so the Achilles issue appears to be new. Bobo's status will be worth monitoring ahead of Sunday night's matchup with the Commanders. Three of Seattle's five wide receivers, Bobo, Cooper Kupp (hamstring) and Dareke Young (hip), are all questionable at the moment, leaving Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Tory Horton as the only healthy wideouts on the roster.

  • Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Minimal usage continues

Bobo wasn't targeted in Sunday's 20-12 in over the Jaguars. Bobo has been targeted just once over his first five games, and he has averaged just 11.2 offensive snaps per game. As long as Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Cooper Kupp and rookie Tory Horton are healthy, Bobo won't have fantasy utility.

  • Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Still no targets

Bobo wasn't targeted in Sunday's 44-13 win over the Saints. Sam Darnold threw the ball just 18 times in the blowout win, so Bobo's chances to get into the rotation were slim. He's the clear No. 4 wide receiver and won't have much fantasy value unless there's an injury ahead of him on the depth chart.

  • Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Escapes injury report

Bobo was removed from Thursday's injury report, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports. Bobo missed Week 1 due to a concussion but practiced in full Wednesday before being removed from the injury report entirely Thursday. That indicates that he's cleared the league's concussion protocol and will be ready to suit up in Week 2 against the Steelers.

  • Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Practices in full Wednesday

Bobo (concussion) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Bobo suffered a concussion during the Seahawks' preseason finale and wasn't able to play in Week 1 against the 49ers. His full participation in Wednesday's practice is a good sign for the third-year wideout out of UCLA, but he'll need to clear the league's five-step concussion protocol in order to play against the Steelers on Sunday. Bobo played in all 17 regular-season games for Seattle in 2024 and logged 13 catches (on 17 targets) for 107 yards and one touchdown while also contributing on special teams.

  • Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Doesn't clear protocol for Week 1

Bobo (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the 49ers, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Head coach Mike Macdonald said Friday that Bobo is progressing through the concussion protocol but still has a couple hurdles left to clear, per Curtis Crabtree of Fox 13 Seattle. Bobo's next chance to play will come in Week 2 against the Steelers. Once healthy, Bobo figures to fill a depth role in Seattle's receiving corps while contributing on special teams.

  • Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Suffers concussion

Bobo suffered a concussion in Saturday's preseason loss to the Packers, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports. Bobo was fielding a punt toward the end of the first half when his own teammate was blocked into him, causing a fumble. Prior to exiting, Bobo caught his lone target for a gain of 12 yards. The 27-year-old wideout is jockeying for positioning on Seattle's wideout depth chart behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Cooper Kupp.

  • Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Catches one pass in loss

Bobo caught his lone target for eight yards in Sunday's 30-13 loss to the Packers. Bobo now has 11 catches for 97 yards through 14 games while averaging 18.5 offensive snaps per contest. Unless an injury occurs above him on the depth chart, Bobo won't have much fantasy value moving forward.

  • Seahawks' Jake Bobo: No targets in win

Bobo wasn't targeted in Sunday's 26-21 win over the Jets. Bobo handled a 32 percent snap share but couldn't draw a target for the third time in four games. Barring an injury ahead of him on the depth chart, Bobo has little fantasy value.

  • Seahawks' Jake Bobo: One target in loss

Bobo failed to catch his only target in Sunday's 26-20 overtime loss to the Rams. DK Metcalf (knee) was inactive, but Bobo couldn't get into the mix despite playing 53.0 percent of the offensive snaps. It's unclear if Metcalf will return in Week 11 after the team's bye week, but regardless, Bobo will be tough to start in any fantasy format.

  • Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Catches two passes in loss

Bobo caught two of four targets for 18 yards in Thursday's 36-24 loss to the 49ers. Both of Bobo's receptions came late in the fourth quarter while the Seahawks were trailing. Bobo's four targets ranked sixth among Seahawks pass catchers, and he'll continue to provide limited fantasy appeal.

  • Seahawks' Jake Bobo: No targets Week 1

Bobo wasn't targeted in Sunday's 26-20 win over the Broncos. Bobo played 19 offensive snaps, far ahead of Laviska Shenault and Dareke Young (both seven), but he wasn't able to make use of the extended look. The snap count ranks him fourth in the wide-receiver pecking order. There's no indication that his fantasy utility will dependable this season.

  • Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Looking good for No. 4 WR spot

Bobo seems to be solidifying his role as Seattle's No. 4 wide receiver, according to Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune. Bobo made the team as an undrafted rookie last year, shining in the preseason and then getting playing time off the bench throughout the regular season. He drew targets on just 25 of his 148 routes, 16.9 percent, but took advantage of the limited opportunities with 19 catches for 196 yards and two touchdowns. Bobo had 64.8 percent of his yardage in a three-game stretch Weeks 6-8, and the lack of production thereafter suggests he's probably headed for a depth role again, not to mention the difficulty of gaining ground on the trio of DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

  • Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Production fizzles out

Bobo caught 19 passes (25 targets) for 196 yards and two touchdowns across 17 games in 2023. he also rushed once for a three-yard touchdown. Bobo showed some impressive flashes in the beginning of the season, but that production essentially vanished in the second half of the year. He recorded nine receptions for 61 yards and no touchdowns over the final 10 games. Still, the Seahawks' lack of depth at the position provides Bobo a good opportunity to make the roster again in 2024.

  • Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Records one reception

Bobo caught his lone target for a six-yard gain in Thursday's 31-13 loss to the 49ers. Bobo served as the No. 4 wide receiver and logged just 12 offensive snaps in the Week 12 loss. Since posting a 4-61-1 receiving line against the Cardinals in Week 7, Bobo has recorded just six receptions for 50 yards over the ensuing five games.

  • Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Full practice Tuesday

Bobo (shoulder) was a full participant at Seattle's practice Tuesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Bobo was listed as a nonparticipant on Monday's estimated injury report, but he now appears to be ready to go for Thursday's matchup with the 49ers. The wide receiver has caught 11 passes for 148 yards and a touchdown over six games since Seattle's Week 5 bye week.

  • Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Usage drops off in blowout loss

Bobo wasn't targeted in Sunday's 37-3 loss to the Ravens. Bobo finished with just nine offensive snaps while Tyler Lockett, DK Metcalf and Jaxon Smith-Njigba all played at least 40 snaps, despite the fact that Seattle trailed early and had to abandon its run game. That's not encouraging for Bobo's future production, but he at least has a stronghold on the No. 4 wideout role, as Dee Eskridge didn't record an offensive snap Sunday.

  • Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Targeted once in win

Bobo didn't catch his only target in Monday's 24-3 win over the Giants. Bobo logged 20 offensive snaps, ranking fourth among Seahawks wide receivers and behind fellow rookie Jaxon Smith-Njigba (27). The undrafted rookie will continue to play a role in the offense both because of his blocking ability and the team's lack of receiver depth.

  • Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Gets 53-man spot

Bobo earned a spot on Seattle's initial 53-man roster, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports. Bobo recorded 57-817-7 receiving line at UCLA in 2022 but then ran a 4.99-second 40-yard dash during the pre-draft process, resulting in him going undrafted in the spring. He caught on with Seattle and impressed during training camp and finished with the 14th-most receiving yards (125) among all players this preseason, earning a depth spot with the Seahawks to open the season. He might even get some snaps Week 1, given all the other injuries the Seahawks have at wide receiver behind starters DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.
