Broncos' Jaylen Waddle: Expected to play all over formation
Broncos OC Davis Webb said Aug. 25 that Waddle is "going to play everywhere" on offense this season, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.
"He's going to play everywhere," Webb said. "He's really really good. He's going to play everywhere. Except offensive line." Coach Sean Payton has been moving Waddle all over the formation during training camp, and he recently beat Patrick Surtain for a 60-yard touchdown in practice. Payton added that Waddle "walks on water" with his traits. Acquired from the Dolphins over the offseason, Waddle missed some time early in camp with tightness. He's looking like a potential home run pick in the third and fourth rounds of fantasy drafts. Waddle is expected to be the engine of the Denver offense.

Broncos' Jaylen Waddle: Big gain in team debut
Waddle brought in his only target for 35 yards in the Broncos' 33-13 preseason loss to the Packers on Friday.
Making his team debut, Waddle made very good use of his one opportunity during his brief time in the game Friday. The speedy offseason addition got loose down the seam on a third-and-5 play and gained an additional 10 yards after the catch to put Denver deep into Green Bay territory. Waddle looked completely unencumbered by the muscle tightness in his leg that had plagued him earlier in the week, and Friday's cameo may represent the extent of the 2021 first-round pick's game action until a Week 1 Monday night road showdown against the Chiefs.

Broncos' Jaylen Waddle: May play Friday
Waddle is in uniform for Friday's preseason game versus the Packers, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports.
After dealing with muscle tightness in his leg in early August, Waddle got back on the practice field Monday and progressed to team drills one day later. With his health seemingly not in question, he's poised to see his first game action with QB Bo Nix after Denver traded for the wide receiver's services back in March.
