Colts' Samuel Womack: Records two pickoffs in 2024
Womack notched 36 tackles (26 solo) and nine defensed passes, including two interceptions, in 17 games during the regular season.
After working mostly on special teams in his first two NFL campaigns, Womack started eight contests in 2024 and unsurprisingly put up the best numbers of his career. His nine defensed passes ranked second for Indianapolis, and he collected multiple pickoffs in a campaign for the first time as a pro. Womack will be in the final year of his rookie contract next season.

Colts' Samuel Womack: Snatches interception in loss
Womack recorded two solo tackles and two passes defensed, including an interception, in Sunday's 31-13 loss to the Broncos.
Womack was able to snag his first interception of the year in the third quarter, picking off Bo Nix on Denver's first possession of the second half. The cornerback has now produced 29 total tackles (19 solo) and eight passes defensed, including an interception, over 14 games in 2024.

Womack was a late addition to the injury report on Saturday, but he's evidently feeling healthy enough to play Sunday. After playing zero defensive snaps in Week 1, Womack has started each of the last three games, seeing a season-high 80 percent snap share in Week 4. Womack has three tackles (two solo) and two pass breakups on the year.

Womack was added to the Colts' injury report Saturday and appears to be under the weather ahead of Sunday's divisional matchup. If Womack cannot play, Dallis Flowers would be slated to start at corner opposite Jaylon Jones while David Long -- who was elevated from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday -- would provide depth in the secondary.

Colts' Samuel Womack: Inconsistent pass coverage
Womack started at left cornerback and had one total tackle in Sunday's win over Chicago. He gave up a six-yard touchdown on the only pass targeted at him, according to Pro Football Focus.
Womack played on 28 of the defense's 90 snaps but was inconsistent in coverage. He started at left cornerback but played fewer snaps (28) than Dallis Flowers (41 snaps), who came off the bench. However, Womack could play more snaps next week if Flowers misses time with a leg injury he sustained Sunday.

Womack was designated to return from IR on Nov. 6, which opened a 21-day window for him to be activated. Thus, he has been activated to avoid passing that time limit, but it remains to be seen if he is healthy enough to suit up Thursday.
