Patriots' Khalil Jacobs: Placed on injured reserve
The Patriots placed Jacobs (undisclosed) on injured reserve Monday.
Jacobs participated in the first two preseason games for the Patriots before succumbing to injury, accumulating eight tackles (four solo). While Jacobs is sidelined, Darius Muasau will likely be the first depth option behind starting inside linebackers Christian Elliss and Robert Spillane.
