Patriots' Alijah Vera-Tucker: Remains on track for OTAs
Vera-Tucker (triceps) is expected to take part in the Patriots' upcoming OTAs, Mark Daniels of MassLive.com reports.
New England's OTAs are scheduled to begin in late May, and Vera-Tucker looks like he'll be ready to participate. The offensive guard missed all of last season due to a torn triceps and has played in only 43 regular-season contests (out of a possible 85) across his five NFL campaigns. Vera-Tucker signed a three-year contract with New England in early March and is "highly motivated" to prove himself following his injury struggles, per Daniels.

Patriots' Alijah Vera-Tucker: Anticipates clearance for OTAs
Vera-Tucker (triceps) told reporters Thursday that he anticipates being fully cleared for the start of OTAs, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
Vera-Tucker added that he plans on being a full participant in the Patriots' voluntary offseason program, which begins Apr. 20. The USC product signed a three-year, $42 million deal with New England on Mar. 9 after spending the first four seasons of his career with the Jets. Once Vera-Tucker returns to full health, he's expected to operate as the Patriots' top left guard during the 2026 season.

Patriots' Alijah Vera-Tucker: Signs three-year deal with Pats
Vera-Tucker (triceps) agreed to terms with the Patriots on a three-year, $42 million contract Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Vera-Tucker will turn 27 years old this summer and is coming off a lost 2025 season after he suffered a season-ending torn triceps in practice just ahead of Week 1 last September. When healthy, Vera-Tucker is a difference-making offensive lineman, but he's missed 41 of a possible 68 regular-season games to various serious injuries over the last four seasons.

Jets' Alijah Vera-Tucker: Officially on IR
Vera-Tucker (triceps) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Vera-Tucker was ruled out for the season Thursday, so this move was a formality to free up a roster spot. The Jets haven't confirmed their plans to replace Vera-Tucker at right guard, but Joe Tippmann could shift over, with Josh Myers taking Tippmann's spot at center.
