49ers' Deommodore Lenoir: Logs over 1,000 snaps on defense
Lenoir finished the 2025 regular season with 61 tackles (39 solo) and two interceptions across 17 starts.
Lenoir turned in another strong campaign as a shutdown coverage corner for the 49ers, but his IDP numbers took a slight dip in 2025. The 61 tackles registered as his lowest total in the four full seasons he has been a starter in the pros (averaged 82.7 last three years). The 25-year-old was rewarded with a lucrative five-year contract extension this past offseason, so expect Lenoir to continue operating as San Francisco's CB1 in 2026.

49ers' Deommodore Lenoir: Picks off Brissett in Week 11 win
Lenoir posted seven tackles (four solo) and two pass defenses (including an interception) during the 49ers' 41-22 win over the Cardinals on Sunday.
Lenoir was managing a calf injury during Week 11 prep but was cleared to play in Sunday's NFC West tilt. It didn't appear to bother him all that much, as he played 66 of 79 defensive snaps (83.5 percent) while finishing in a three-way tie for the most tackles on the 49ers behind Curtis Robinson (11) and Dee Winters (10). Lenoir also picked off Jacoby Brissett late in the third quarter, and the former was able to weave his way through would-be tacklers for a 64-yard return to set the 49ers offense up in the red zone, leading to a four-yard touchdown pass from Brock Purdy to George Kittle five plays later. Lenoir is up to 40 tackles (28 solo) and five pass defenses (two interceptions) through 11 regular-season games.

49ers' Deommodore Lenoir: Cleared to play Sunday
Lenoir (calf) is active for Sunday's Week 11 matchup against Arizona, Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Lenoir dealt with a calf issue at the end of the week and was deemed questionable on Friday's final injury report. The Oregon product is ultimately going to play, which is a big development for the 49ers' secondary. Lenoir has logged every defensive snap for San Francisco each of the past seven weeks.

49ers' Deommodore Lenoir: Questionable with calf issue
Lenoir (calf) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
Lenoir was unable to practice Friday after feeling tightness during Thursday's session, and he now awaits MRI results to explore the severity of the injury. The starting cornerback's chance of playing is likely tied to the results of the MRI as well as his mobility. A good result could mean the ability to play in Sunday's divisional matchup, but if the 26-year-old is unable to suit up, Darrell Luter will likely get a start at cornerback.

49ers' Deommodore Lenoir: Appears on injury report
Lenoir (calf) was a limited participant in practice Thursday, Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
It's a new issue for the cornerback, who did not appear on Wednesday's injury report. Lenoir's status will be worth monitoring Friday ahead of Sunday's game against the Cardinals. The fifth-year pro has played on nearly every defensive snap for San Francisco this season, recording 33 tackles (24 solo) and three pass breakups, including an interception.

49ers' Deommodore Lenoir: Haults in first INT of 2025
Lenoir registered three tackles (two solo) and one interception during the 49ers' 26-15 loss to the Texans on Sunday.
Lenoir was on the receiving end of an overthrown deep pass from C.J. Stroud that was intended for Jaylin Noel at the end of the first half. It was Lenoir's first interception of the season and first since Week 8 of the 2024 campaign against the Cowboys. The 2021 fifth-rounder has accumulated 29 tackles (21 solo) and three pass defenses through the first eight games of the regular season, which is well behind pace from his numbers in 2024 (85 tackles through 15 regular-season contests).
