The deal is reported to be worth $17.5 million, with up to $18.5 million in earnings possible. Clemons was a full participant Wednesday, so he may have suffered the injury during practice. A late-week downgrade usually doesn't bode well for a player's chances of suiting up on game day, but considering Clemons was at least able to practice in a limited fashion, it might not be all bad for the 27-year-old. If he is unable to suit up, the Jets may have to lean on Takkarist McKinley and Will McDonald more to help generate a pass rush against the Titans.
