  • E.J. Jenkins: Cut by Philly

The Eagles waived Jenkins on Monday, Andrew DiCecco of InsideTheBirds.com reports. Jenkins appeared in eight regular-season games for the Eagles last season, catching one pass for a seven-yard touchdown. He could be a candidate for the practice squad if Jenkins goes unclaimed.

  • Eagles' E.J. Jenkins: Signed to Eagles' active roster

The Eagles signed Jenkins from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Zach Berman of The Athletic reports. Jenkins had already been elevated from the Eagles' practice squad three times this season, the maximum a team is allowed to do so for any given player. Jenkins' signing to the active roster was necessitated by the Eagles being expected to place Dallas Goedert on injured reserve Saturday due to a knee injury. Goedert is expected to be back for the playoffs, but while he is sidelined, Jenkins will serve as Philadelphia's No. 3 tight end behind Grant Calcaterra and C.J. Uzomah, starting with Sunday's game against the Panthers.

Jenkins reverted to the Eagles' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log. The tight end played on 11 of 79 offensive snaps in Philadelphia's 28-23 win over the Jaguars on Sunday. Grant Calcaterra (73 snaps) and Jack Stoll (31 snaps) ranked ahead of Jenkins on the tight-end depth chart with Dallas Goedert (hamstring) and Albert Okwuegbunam (abdomen) still out. Jenkins also played eight snaps on special teams but did not record a stat.

  • Eagles' E.J. Jenkins: Elevated for Week 9

The Eagles elevated Jenkins from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Chris McPherson of the team's official site reports. It's the third and final time Jenkins can be elevated by the Eagles this season, and Philadelphia would have to sign the 26-year-old tight end to the active roster following Sunday's game. With Dallas Goedert (hamstring) and Albert Okwuegbunam (abdomen) yet to return from IR, Jenkins will serve as the Eagles' No. 3 tight end behind Grant Calcaterra and Jack Stoll.

Jenkins reverted to the Eagles' practice squad Tuesday, per the NFL's official transaction log. The Eagles elevated Jenkins to their active roster from their practice squad Friday. The Georgia Tech product signed with the Eagles' practice squad after failing to make the team's initial 53-man roster in late August, but he's now been elevated to Philadelphia's active roster ahead of Friday night's game. Expect Johnson to serve as a depth piece in the Eagles' tight end room.

  • Eagles' E.J. Jenkins: Dealing with knee injury

Jenkins (knee) did not participate at practice Saturday, Andrew DiCecco of InsideTheBirds.com reports. It's unclear at this point how serious Jenkins' knee issue is. Either way, it's an unfortunate setback considering he's likely on the outside looking in at a potential spot on Philadelphia's final 53-man roster.

  • E.J. Jenkins: Dropped by Philadelphia

Jenkins was cut from the Eagles' practice squad Tuesday. The Eagles have decided to part ways with the 25-year-old tight end just two weeks after signing him to their practice squad.
