Ambry Thomas: Gets look from Minnesota
The Vikings signed Thomas (forearm) to their practice squad Tuesday, Craig Peters of the team's official site reports.
Thomas suffered a fractured forearm in training camp and was waived from the 49ers' injured reserve Dec. 17. He was claimed by Indianapolis two days later but didn't end up with the organization due to a failed physical. However, Thomas appears to now be healthy, and he'll look to impress the playoff-bound Vikings during his time on their practice squad.

Ambry Thomas: Fails physical
The Colts failed Thomas' (forearm) physical Thursday after having claimed him off waivers from the 49ers on Wednesday, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.
Thomas hasn't yet fully healed from the forearm fracture he suffered during training camp, so he won't join Indianapolis' 53-man roster. The fourth-year pro will look to get fully healthy and then search for another opportunity to sign with a team.

Colts' Ambry Thomas: Claimed by Indianapolis
The Colts claimed Thomas (forearm) off waivers from the 49ers on Wednesday, Joel Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.
Thomas has been on injured reserve for the entire regular season after he broke his forearm in a preseason game against the Titans in August. He was waived by the 49ers on Tuesday, but he has quickly found a new home with the Colts and will provide depth in the secondary.

Ambry Thomas: Released from IR
Thomas (forearm) was released from the 49ers' injured reserve Tuesday.
Thomas has spent the entirety of the 2024 season on injured reserve with a broken forearm that he suffered in August. He will continue to focus on recovering from the injury, and, once healthy, the cornerback will shift his focus to finding his next opportunity in the league.
