Fantasy News

  • Lions' Amik Robertson: Ready to go for SNF

Robertson (hamstring) is active for Sunday night's contest against the Eagles. Robertson is ready to go for Sunday Night Football after having been limited at practice late in the week with a hamstring issue. With Terrion Arnold (concussion) unavailable, Robertson may be tasked with handling the most significant assignment at cornerback for the Lions against DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown on the other side.

  • Lions' Amik Robertson: Dealing with hamstring injury

Robertson (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Eagles. Robertson popped up on Thursday's practice report as a limited participant due to a hamstring injury. He's been given the questionable tag for Sunday's road game, and if he joins Terrion Arnold (concussion) on the inactive list, then Rock Ya-Sin, Avonte Maddox and Nick Whiteside would be the top candidates to start at outside corner. Robertson has started in each of the Lions' last five games, and over that span he has accumulated 16 tackles (14 solo), two pass defenses (one interception) and one forced fumble.

  • Lions' Amik Robertson: Undergoes successful surgery

Robertson had surgery on the broken humerus he sustained during Saturday's 45-31 divisional-round loss to the Commanders, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. Pelissero adds that the procedure on Robertson's broken arm went well and that he is expected to be available for offseason workouts. The 26-year-old signed a two-year, $9.25 million with the Lions last March, and he delivered with career highs in tackles (50) and passes defended (8) over 17 regular-season games. Assuming he's healthy, Robertson should reprise his role as Detroit's primary slot cornerback next season.

  • Lions' Amik Robertson: Requires surgery on arm

Roberston broke his arm in Saturday's 45-31 divisional-round loss to the Commanders, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Robertson suffered the injury early in the first quarter and was quickly ruled out. He'll undergo surgery Monday, though the timeline for his return is unclear.

  • Lions' Amik Robertson: Dealing with elbow injury

Robertson is questionable to return to Saturday's divisional-round game against the Commanders due to an elbow injury. Robertson suffered the injury early in the first quarter and was walked off the field by trainers. Kindle Vildor has taken over as an outside corner in Robertson's absence. The Lions are already without several key members of their secondary, so Robertson's absence would be another significant blow.

  • Lions' Amik Robertson: Upgraded to full Thursday

Robertson (calf) returned to a full practice Thursday. Robertson logged 100 percent of the defensive snaps last Monday night against the 49ers and has become an every-down cornerback for the Lions in the two games since Carlton Davis suffered a broken jaw. Over the last two weeks, Robertson has totaled 10 tackles (seven solo), three pass breakups and one forced fumble.

  • Lions' Amik Robertson: Notches eight tackles vs. Bears

Robertson recorded eight total tackles (five solo) and two passes defended in Sunday's 34-17 win over the Bears. Robertson finished second on the Lions' defense in total tackles during Sunday's blowout win, trailing Brian Branch's 12-stop performance. The first-year Lion tied his season high in tackles (eight) in Week 16, having now accumulated 43 total tackles, six passes defended and two forced fumbles over 15 appearances. Robertson is expected to continue starting opposite Terrion Arnold as part of Detroit's top outside-cornerback duo for the remainder of the regular season.

  • Lions' Amik Robertson: Eight solo tackles in win

Robertson recorded eight solo tackles and two passes defensed in Monday's 42-29 win over Seattle. Robertson played a season-high 55 percent of Detroit's defensive snaps, finishing second on the team in tackles behind Kerby Joseph. The 26-year-old is operating as the team's starting slot cornerback, compiling 12 total tackles (11 solo) and four passes defensed over the first four games of 2024.

  • Lions' Amik Robertson: Comes off NFI list

The Lions removed Robertson (undisclosed) from the active/non-football injury list Wednesday. Robertson's stint on the active/non-football injury list was short-lived, as he spent just a handful of hours on it. The first-year Lion is now able to participate in training camp once again.

  • Lions' Amik Robertson: Finds new home

Robertson is set to sign a two-year, $9.25 million contract with the Lions, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. Robertson will now join Carlton Davis as part of Detroit's attempt to rebuild its secondary, which was a weak point last season. The 2020 fourth-round selection has mostly operated out of the slot in his four years with the Raiders. The Louisiana Tech product notched 50 combined tackles last season while also recording six passes defended, including two interceptions.

  • Raiders' Amik Robertson: Good to go Sunday

Robertson (concussion) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against Miami, Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site reports. The fourth-year cornerback out of Louisiana Tech missed Wednesday's practice with a concussion, but he was able to log a full session Friday, and it seems as if he's cleared concussion protocol ahead of Sunday's contest. Robertson has appeared in seven games for Las Vegas this year, recording 24 total tackles, three pass deflections and two interceptions.

  • Raiders' Amik Robertson: Scoops and scores in Week 5 win

Robertson recorded three tackles (two solo) and returned a recovered fumble for a touchdown during Sunday's 32-23 win over the Broncos. Melvin Gordon tried to fight for extra yards on a first-and-10 play in the second quarter when Duron Harmon knocked the ball loose. Robertson jumped on the loose ball and proceeded to weave his way between blockers for a 68-yard score. The third-year defensive back has had an inconsistent role this season due to numerous injuries in Las Vegas' secondary, but his playmaking ability may earn him extra snaps moving forward.

  • Raiders' Amik Robertson: Inactive against Kansas City

Robertson (hip) is inactive for Sunday's game against Kansas City. Robertson was doubtful heading into Sunday's matchup and will be unable to suit up due to a hip injury. The 23-year-old's absence shouldn't significantly impact the Raiders' defensive plans.

  • Raiders' Amik Robertson: Questionable with illness

Robertson is questionable for Sunday's game against the Bills due to an illness, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports. Robertson hasn't played a snap this season, so his absence ordinarily wouldn't be a particularly significant one for the Raiders. Las Vegas is thin at cornerback after Damon Arnette (thumb) landed on injured reserve Friday, however, so he could play a role if he gets past his illness.
