  • Giants' Isaiah Hodgins: Secures TD in loss to Detroit

Hodgins caught two of six targets for 42 yards and one touchdown in the Giants' 34-27 overtime loss to the Lions on Sunday. Hodgins' six targets were a distant second on the team behind Wan'Dale Robinson's 14 looks from Jameis Winston. Hodgins, however, did find the end zone from 12 yards out in the second quarter to give the Giants a 17-7 lead. Hodgins has drawn six targets in back-to-back games since signing with the team off the Steelers' practice squad. He appears to be locked into three-wide sets alongside Robinson and Darius Slayton, as the Giants seem to again be moving away from Jalin Hyatt.

  • Giants' Isaiah Hodgins: Week 12 Waiver Priority List

If Darius Slayton (hamstring) is out again in Week 12 at Detroit then take a flier on Hodgins in deeper leagues for 1 percent of your remaining FAB. Slayton missed Week 11 against Green Bay, and Hodgins had five catches for 57 yards on six targets. The Giants will likely be chasing points against the Lions, and Hodgins could perform like a No. 3 Fantasy receiver in this matchup. Also, if Slayton (38 percent rostered) is healthy, you can add him as well for 1 percent. Prior to missing Week 11, Slayton scored at least 11.2 PPR points in two games in a row.

  • Giants' Isaiah Hodgins: Paces Giants in receiving yards

Hodgins hauled in five of six targets for 57 yards during Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Packers. Hodgins made his season debut in familiar territory after spending most of the season on the Steelers' practice squad, from which the Giants signed him off of Thursday. He thus had little time to get up to speed with fill-in QB Jameis Winston, but Hodgins still paced the team in catches and receiving yards while ranking behind only WR Wan'Dale Robinson's (4-36-0 line) nine targets. Hodgins' previous experience with interim head coach Mike Kafka in New York from 2022 through 2024 clearly aided his cause as he helped cover for the absent Darius Slayton (hamstring). Slayton didn't practice during Week 11 prep, so Hodgins may have some viability in the short term if the former remains sidelined next Sunday at Detroit.

  • Giants' Isaiah Hodgins: May have role in return to Giants

Hodgins may play a large role in the Giants' passing game Sunday against the Packers due to Darius Slayton (hamstring) being ruled out for the contest, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports. Hodgins hasn't been active once this season while mostly residing on the Steelers' practice squad, but the Giants signed him to their active roster Thursday in the wake of significant injuries in their receiving corps. Hodgins has plenty of experience working with interim head coach Mike Kafka, as he was the offensive coordinator calling the plays after the wideout joined the team at the midpoint of the 2022 campaign. In 28 games with New York over the previous three seasons, Hodgins hauled in 56 of 77 passes for 593 yards and seven touchdowns. He also plays primarily out wide, making him a decent plug and play for Slayton in addition to his previous experience with Kafka.

  • Giants' Isaiah Hodgins: Poached by Giants

New York signed Hodgins to the 53-man roster from the Steelers' practice squad Thursday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports. Hodgins will provide depth for New York at wide receiver in the wake of the team having seen Lil'Jordan Humphrey poached from their practice squad by Denver. Hodgins spent time with the 49ers in training camp and has resided on Pittsburgh's practice squad for most of the regular season, but his last game action came across three appearances with the Giants in 2024.

  • Isaiah Hodgins: Cut by 49ers

The 49ers released Hodgins on Tuesday. Hodgins was a productive player with the Giants between the 2022 and 2023 seasons, tallying 54 catches for 581 yards and seven touchdowns. However, he fell out of favor in 2024 and spent most of the season on the practice squad. Hodgins may be headed toward a similar fate in 2025.

  • 49ers' Isaiah Hodgins: Joins SF on reserve/future deal

San Francisco signed Hodgins to a reserve/future contract Tuesday. Hodgins was a sixth-round draft selection by the Bills in 2020. He had a mild breakthrough after joining the Giants midway through the 2022 campaign, recording 33 catches for 351 yards and four touchdowns over eight games. However, Hodgins had since fallen out of favor in New York and spent much of 2024 on the team's practice squad. The 49ers have signed two other veteran wideouts -- Trent Taylor and Russell Gage -- to reserve/future deals following the conclusion of the regular season, and the trio will be given the opportunity to compete for roster spots during training camp next summer.

  • Giants' Isaiah Hodgins: Elevated ahead of Week 5

The Giants elevated Hodgins from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports. Hodgins wasn't able to make the Giants' 53-man roster at the end of training camp despite starting for the G-Men during the 2023 regular season. He opted to stick around on the practice squad, and he'll be elevated for the first time this season ahead of Sunday's game against the Seahawks after Malik Nabers (concussion) was ruled out. Hodgins recorded 21 catches (on 33 targets) for 230 yards and three touchdowns across 17 regular-season games for the Giants in 2023.

  • Isaiah Hodgins: Sticks around with Big Blue

The Giants signed Hodgins to the practice squad Wednesday, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports. Hodgins opened 2023 as a starter for the Giants, but he saw inconsistent playing time over the course of the season and finished with 21 catches (on 33 targets) for 230 yards and three touchdowns across 17 regular-season games. The 2020 sixth-round pick didn't manage to show much production during the preseason, during which he caught three passes (on eight targets) for 17 yards. Hodgins will stick around on the taxi squad in the hopes of making it back to the active roster during the regular season.

  • Giants' Isaiah Hodgins: Falls back to depth role in 2023

Hodgins recorded three catches for 36 yards on three targets in Sunday's 27-10 win over the Eagles. Hodgins ascended to a spot near the top of the depth chart by the end of the 2022 campaign, but he saw his role diminish in 2023. By Week 4, Hodgins had been surpassed in the receiving pecking order by other options, and he logged less than half of the team's offensive snaps in six of his final seven contests. He maxed out at four catches and 40 yards -- both in Week 2 against Arizona -- over his 17 appearances on the season, ultimately finishing with a 21-230-3 receiving line on 33 targets. The Giants' paltry passing game played a part in Hodgins' decreased output, but it was also evident that the wideout isn't likely to be a difference-maker in an NFL offense. Hodgins is set to be a restricted free agent this spring, and it's far from a certainty that he'll be tendered.

  • Giants' Isaiah Hodgins: Finishes without target Monday

Hodgins was not targeted in the Giants' Week 17 loss to the Eagles on Monday. For the second straight week, Hodgins completed a game without logging any receptions. He received one target last Sunday versus New Orleans before being shut out entirely against Philadelphia. Hodgins came down with an illness over the weekend that may have impacted his production, but even when 100 percent this season he's failed to make a meaningful impact. Hodgins hasn't had more than three catches or 24 receiving yards in a game since Week 2, and he's been held without a reception seven times over 13 contests during that span.

  • Giants' Isaiah Hodgins: Will play Monday

Hodgins (illness) is active Monday against the Eagles, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports. Hodgins fell ill Sunday, prompting his late addition to the team's injury report a day ahead of their Week 16 divisional clash. However, the 25-year-old has made enough progress in the last 24 hours that he'll take the field and work to contribute in the passing game from the lower end of the Giants' wide receiver depth chart.

  • Giants' Isaiah Hodgins: Gets season-low snap count

Hodgins went without a target while playing 18 of the Giants' 77 snaps on offense in Sunday's 14-9 loss to the Bills. Though Hodgins was credited with a start after opening the game on the field for the Giants' first possession, he ultimately finished fourth among New York receivers in terms of playing time. With snap shares of 40 percent or lower in three consecutive games, Hodgins appears to have moved into more of a depth role while rookie third-round pick Jalin Hyatt has been seeing more work at his expense.

  • Giants' Isaiah Hodgins: Shut out Thursday

Hodgins failed to catch his only target in a Week 3 loss to San Francisco on Thursday. Hodgins was on the field for two-thirds of New York's offensive snaps, but he got only one target. The wideout hauled in a touchdown against Arizona in Week 2 but has notched just one catch over his other two games combined. The pecking order among Giants receivers continues to be unsettled and was further complicated Thursday by the season debut of Wan'Dale Robinson, who caught four of five targets for 21 yards. Head coach Brian Daboll has shown a willingness in the past to shake up the receiver depth chart based on individual performance, so Hodgins could begin to lose playing time if he doesn't amp up his production.

  • Giants' Isaiah Hodgins: Fumbles away only catch

Hodgins caught one of three targets for 24 yards and lost a fumble against the Cowboys in a blowout Week 1 loss Sunday. Hodgins and Parris Campbell were the two receivers on the field for the Giants on their first offensive possession, with Darren Waller at tight end and Daniel Bellinger at fullback. That suggested Hodgins' place atop the wideout pecking order, but it didn't lead to much production, as he logged just one reception in the loss. That catch was a 24-yarder in the third quarter that he subsequently fumbled away to Dallas. There won't be many positive takeaways from this performance for New York, and Hodgins actually ranked second on the team with his 24 receiving yards, so chances are that he'll be on the field to open next Sunday's game in Arizona as the Giants look to reset following the embarrassing season-opening defeat.

  • Giants' Isaiah Hodgins: Week 1 Waiver Priority List

The Giants have a new top target in Darren Waller this season, and Wan'Dale Robinson and Sterling Shepard being healthy to open the year is a positive, as well as the additions of Parris Campbell and rookie Jalin Hyatt. But Hodgins should be locked into a starting role as an outside receiver, and he was great to end last year when he scored at least 14.2 PPR points in four of his final five games of the regular season. Daniel Jones trusts him, and Fantasy managers could be surprised with his production again. He's a good late-round flier and someone to add with 1 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Giants' Isaiah Hodgins: Part of crowded WR room

Hodgins caught his only target for 13 yards in Friday's 21-16 preseason loss to the Lions. Hodgins caught a pass from backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor on New York's second possession. The 24-year-old wide receiver excelled after being picked up by the Giants midseason in 2022, scoring five touchdowns in 10 games between the regular season and playoffs. Hodgins could pick up where he left off as the No. 1 wide receiver for the Giants in 2023, but he faces plenty of competition for playing time in a receiving corps that also features holdovers Darius Slayton, Sterling Shepard (knee) and Wan'Dale Robinson (knee), rookie third-round pick Jalin Hyatt and offseason signing Parris Campbell.

  • Giants' Isaiah Hodgins: Re-signs with Giants

The Giants re-signed Hodgins to a one-year contract Thursday. Hodgins, 24, was scheduled to be an exclusive rights free agent but is returning to the Giants after being claimed off waivers from the Bills in November. He quickly evolved into an every-down receiver for New York and was a prominent red-zone target for Daniel Jones. Hodgins finished the season with 33 catches for 351 yards and four touchdowns in eight games with the Giants and caught nine more balls for 108 yards and one score in two playoff contests. He should face more competition for targets and playing time in 2023, assuming the Giants find much-needed upgrades at the position.

  • Giants' Isaiah Hodgins: Limited in Tuesday's walk-through

Hodgins was a limited participant Tuesday in the Giants' walk-through practice due to an ankle injury, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports. Hodgins is tending to an injury in the aftermath of this past Sunday's 31-24 win over the Vikings in the wild-card round, but the ankle issue isn't anything that's expected to keep him off the field in Saturday's matchup with the Eagles in the divisional round. In the victory over the Vikings, Hodgins played 91 percent of the Giants' snaps on offense and finished with eight catches for a career-high 105 yards and a touchdown on nine targets.

  • Giants' Isaiah Hodgins: Tops century mark against Vikings

Hodgins caught eight of nine targets for 105 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-24 wild-card win over the Vikings. The 24-year-old's second-half breakout carried on into the playoffs as Hodgins recorded his first career 100-yard performance at the best possible time. He also found his way into the end zone for the fifth time in his last six games, hauling in a 14-yard toss from Daniel Jones late in the first quarter to give the Giants their first lead of the day. One of those earlier TDs came against the same Eagles secondary Hodgins will be facing in the divisional round, part of the 4-38-1 line on six targets he amassed in a Week 14 loss.
