  • Rams' Anthony Hines: Remaining with Rams

Hines (undisclosed) signed a reserve/future contract with the Rams on Wednesday.

  • Anthony Hines: Hits injured list

Hines (undisclosed) was placed on the Rams' practice squad injured list Saturday.

Hines went undrafted out of Texas A&M and spent training camp with the Cowboys. He suffered an elbow injury and was waived from IR with an injury settlement before camp concluded. He ultimately ended up with the Rams' practice squad, but he never made it to the active roster. He'll work to get healthy and make a bigger impact next season.

  • Anthony Hines: Gets workout with Bucs

Hines received a workout with Tampa Bay on Monday, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.

Hines was in camp with the Cowboys, but he injured his elbow during the preseason. He was placed on IR but was then waived with an injury settlement in August. The Buccaneers are dealing with some injuries in their linebacker group, so he could at the least provide some depth on their practice squad.

  • Cowboys' Anthony Hines: Shifts to IR

Hines (elbow) cleared waivers and reverted to Dallas' injured reserve Wednesday, NFL reporter Aaron Wilson reports.

Hines picked up an elbow injury during Friday's preseason matchup with the Cardinals, and he was waived with an injury designation Friday. He's now on season-ending injured reserve after passing through waivers unclaimed.

  • Cowboys' Anthony Hines: Hurts elbow

Hines injured his elbow in the game against the Cardinals on Friday, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.

The undrafted rookie was carted to the locker room after the Cowboys' staff examined him on the sideline. It's an unfortunate break for the young linebacker. If his injury causes him to miss significant time then claiming a roster spot will likely become a tall task.
