Tagovailoa's final line underscores the game manager role he played in the overseas win, one in which he withstood three sacks but still managed a solid 8.6 yards per attempt. The veteran signal-caller worked with a tight circle of five targets, and the fact he was able to remain turnover-free for only the second time in the last six games may have been as encouraging an aspect of his performance as any. Tagovailoa has thrown for under 200 yards in each of the last two contests heading into the Week 12 bye, but Miami has notably recorded victories in both contests.

Tagovailoa has scored more than 20 Fantasy points just once in his past five outings, but this matchup against Washington in Madrid is amazing. The Commanders are No. 4 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks, and only Russell Wilson in Week 1 failed to score at least 19.5 points against this defense. The past four quarterbacks against Washington have scored at least 28.9 Fantasy points, including Dak Prescott, Patrick Mahomes, Sam Darnold and Jared Goff, and hopefully Tagovailoa will follow suit. He's worth using as a low-end starter in all one-quarterback leagues in Week 11.

But in Week 11 in Madrid, Tagovailoa gets to face the Commanders, who are No. 4 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks. He's a good streaming option in that matchup, and then Tagovailoa gets to face New Orleans in Week 13, the Jets in Week 14, Pittsburgh in Week 15, Cincinnati in Week 16 and Tampa Bay in Week 17 after a bye in Week 12. It's an ideal schedule, and Tagovailoa could be a surprise Fantasy quarterback to close the year. He's worth adding for up to 5 percent of your remaining FAB.

Tagovailoa's pair of interceptions didn't lead to any Bills points, and he helped offset the miscues with nine- and 38-yard touchdown tosses to Malik Washington and Jaylen Waddle in the first half. Tagovailoa didn't need to do much otherwise, as the Dolphins' defense put together a standout performance that indirectly resulted in the quarterback's fifth sub-200-yard tally of the season. The 2020 first-round pick does now have four multi-interception tallies this season, a troublesome trend Tagovailoa will aim to avoid in a Week 11 overseas matchup against the Commanders in Madrid.

Tagovailoa's completion percentage and passing yardage numbers weren't objectionable from a fantasy standpoint, but his real-world impact on the Dolphins offense was middling. To be fair, Tagovailoa also was victimized by a couple of fumbles -- the second by Malik Washington early in the fourth quarter on the Ravens' 11-yard line to short-circuit a 12-play, 81-yard drive -- as well as a missed field goal by Riley Patterson. Tagovailoa now has sandwiched a pair of games with zero touchdown passes around the four scoring tosses he recorded against the Falcons in Week 8, and he's up to 11 interceptions on the campaign heading into a Week 10 home matchup against the Bills on Sunday, Nov. 9.

He just had 32.2 Fantasy points at Atlanta, but prior to that, he scored fewer than 10 Fantasy points in each of his past two games against the Chargers and Browns. The Ravens have held their past two opposing quarterbacks to fewer than 12 Fantasy points in each game against Matthew Stafford in Week 6 and Caleb Williams in Week 8, and I expect Tagovailoa to score fewer than 20 Fantasy points in this game.

We'll see if Tagovailoa just had a surprise outing in Week 8 at Atlanta with 32.2 Fantasy points, or if this is a sign of things to come. He's had an up-and-down season so far with four games of at least 19.7 Fantasy points and three games with 8.6 points or less, and he might be tough to trust, including in Week 9 against the Ravens. But starting in Week 11, Tagovailoa faces Washington, then a bye, New Orleans, the Jets, Pittsburgh and Cincinnati, and those are all favorable matchups. It might not be a bad idea to stash Tagovailoa in deeper leagues for 1 percent of your remaining FAB.

Tagovailoa came into the afternoon dealing with an illness that forced him onto the injury report early Sunday morning, but he and the Dolphins conquered heavy odds to deliver a completely unexpected comfortable victory. Tagovailoa tossed a season-high four touchdown passes, hitting running backs De'Von Achane and Ollie Gordon from three and 20 yards out, respectively, and sandwiching those throws around nine- and 43-yard scoring strikes to Malik Washington and Jaylen Waddle. This was a much-needed respite from both individual and team struggles for Tagovailoa and his teammates, but he'll have to turn around and face another talented defense in that of the Ravens during a Week 9 home matchup Thursday night.

Tagovailoa was a full participant in practice throughout the week, but he may have fallen an ill at some point Friday or Saturday. In any case, whatever ailment Tagovailoa is dealing with won't prevent him from playing Sunday, though it's possible that he'll be operating at less than 100 percent health. The bout with the illness won't do Tagovailoa any favors as he looks to bounce back from a pair of poor showings in Week 6 and 7 losses to the Chargers and Browns, respectively, during which he completed 33 of 55 throws for 5.5 yards per attempt and a 1:6 TD:INT.

Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel said Monday that Tagovailoa will start on the road versus Atlanta on Sunday, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports.
Tagovailoa was benched late in the fourth quarter of Miami's 31-6 loss to the Browns in Week 7, a matchup that saw the fifth-year pro succumb to adverse weather conditions and throw three interceptions with zero touchdowns and only 130 passing yards. He had previously also thrown three interceptions in the Dolphins' loss to the Chargers in Week 6. Rookie seventh-round pick Quinn Ewers didn't fare much better than Tagovailoa, as he nearly threw an INT on his first snap, fumbled two plays later and ended the game with five completions for 53 yards on eight pass attempts. Now sitting at a 1-6 record, McDaniel and Tagovialoa may both be at risk of losing their positions if the team can't right the ship against the Falcons, a task that will be all the more difficult with tight end Darren Waller (pectoral) looking unlikely to be available.
