Player Outlook
Jeudy's career, even 2024, is hard to digest. The former first-round pick never topped 1,000 yards in Denver, though he often flashed brilliance, particularly in his route running. Last year he only topped 40 receiving yards twice in his first seven games. Then Jameis Winston took over at quarterback. From Week 8 through the end of the season, Jeudy caught 69 passes for 963 yards and three touchdowns, ranking as the No. 9 wide receiver in Fantasy with 18.3 PPR FPPG. Unfortunately for him, Winston left for New York in the offseason and the Browns have a four-headed QB competition with Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, Shedeur Sanders and Dillon Gabriel. Flacco is similar to Winston in the way he elevates his top option and Jeudy could legitimately be a top-12 wide receiver next year if he plays 17 games with Flacco. The rookies are more of a mystery. For now, we rank Jeudy as a borderline WR2 who is a good value any time after Round 4. There is a high ceiling and a low floor at that cost.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Not on track to play Saturday

Jeudy is among the key Cleveland players not slated to play in Saturday's preseason game against the Eagles, Kelsey Russo of the Browns' official site reports. Jeudy also sat out the team's preseason opener, so his last chance to log exhibition snaps will occur Aug. 23 against the Rams. As the coming season approaches, Jeudy remains entrenched as the No. 1 option in a Cleveland wideout corps that also includes Cedric Tillman, Jamari Thrash and Diontae Johnson.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Won't play Friday night

Jeudy and Cedric Tillman won't play in Friday's preseason opener against the Panthers, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports. Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said he wants to play some of his projected starters, but Jeudy, Tillman and QB Joe Flacco apparently will be kept on ice. There presumably will be others, including on the defensive side. All signs point to Flacco getting the Week 1 start at QB, which is promising for Jeudy's fantasy value relative to the alternatives.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Set to lead Browns' WR corps

As training camp gets underway, Jeudy profiles as the Browns' clear-cut No. 1 wide receiver, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports. Jeudy is coming off a breakout campaign in 2024, during which he earned his first selection as a Pro Bowler while recording 90 catches (on 145 targets) for 1,229 yards and four TDs in 17 regular-season outings. In his second season with Cleveland, the 2020 first-rounder is entrenched as the top wideout, but slotting behind Jeudy has yet to be determined, with Cedric Tillman and Diontae Johnson currently the top candidates emerge as the team's WR2. Additionally, it remains to be seen who Jeudy will be catching passes from come Week 1, given that the Browns' starting QB job is up for grabs. For now, Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders are the healthy signal-callers in the running for the assignment.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Six catches to end solid campaign

Jeudy recorded six receptions on 13 targets for 63 yards in Saturday's 35-10 loss to the Ravens. As has been the case since Jameis Winston was benched, all of Cleveland's skill-position players have found it difficult to post strong stat lines. Positively, Jeudy commanded 13 targets on 34 total pass attempts by the Browns quarterbacks. However, that translated to a modest yardage total, boosted only because he had a 30-yard reception with just over three minutes left in the fourth quarter with the game well out of reach. Jeudy wraps up his best season as a pro with 1,229 yards and 90 receptions and figures to be a key figure in the Cleveland offense again in 2025.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: WRs to Sit

Jeudy did great in Week 17 against Miami with 12 catches for 94 yards on 18 targets, which was a surprise with Dorian Thompson-Robinson under center. He will probably pepper Jeudy with targets again in Week 18, especially with the Browns likely chasing points at Baltimore, but the Ravens will make things tough on Jeudy in this game. Baltimore has a lot at stake in this game with the NFC North title on the line, and the Ravens want revenge after being upset by the Browns 29-24 in Week 8. Jeudy had five catches for 79 yards on eight targets from Jameis Winston in that game, but I'm expecting Jeudy to have less production in the rematch.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Big PPR performance

Jeudy corralled 12 of 18 targets for 94 receiving yards in Sunday's 20-3 loss to Miami. Jeudy finished with a game-high 12 receptions following last week's dud against the Bengals. It was apparent that backup QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson was trying to get his top wideout involved after leading the receiver to a 3-20-0 receiving line in Week 16. The volume did wonders for those in PPR formats, and fantasy managers will be hoping for more of the same in next Sunday's regular-season finale against the Ravens.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Cleared to face Dolphins

Jeudy (knee/shin) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports. Jeudy was limited in all three of Cleveland's practices but still has the green light to suit up Sunday. He had developed excellent chemistry with Jameis Winston (shoulder), but Jeudy's fantasy prospects are much less appealing now that the volatile Winston has been replaced by the more mobile, weaker-armed Dorian Thompson-Robinson as Cleveland's starting quarterback. Jeudy had just 20 yards in Robinson's first start of the season in Week 16 against the Bengals.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Limited at practice Thursday

Jeudy (knee/shin) was limited at practice Thursday. Jeudy -- who is coming off a two-catch, 20-yard effort in Week 16, was also deemed a limited participant on Wednesday's practice estimate, so the wideout will probably have to practice fully Friday in order to approach Sunday's game against the Dolphins without an injury designation. If available this weekend, Jeudy is likely to continue to work with QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson (calf), who was also limited Thursday but trending toward a second straight start.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Estimated as limited Wednesday

Jeudy was listed a limited participant on Wednesday's practice estimate due to knee and shin injuries, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports. The knee injury is something that Jeudy had been managing in previous weeks, but the shin issue is a new concern heading into Week 17 action. The wideout will have two chances to upgrade to full participation in practice, and in turn, avoid an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: WRs to Sit

Our fears for Jeudy came true in Week 16 at Cincinnati that with Dorian Thompson-Robinson at quarterback it would mean bad news for Jeudy. After scoring at least 12.9 PPR points in seven games in a row, including three outings with at least 21.8 PPR points over that span, he was limited to two catches for 20 yards on three targets against the Bengals. Thompson-Robinson is expected to start again in Week 17 against Miami, which means Jeudy is not worth starting in the majority of leagues, especially since the Dolphins are No. 5 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Pair of catches with DTR at QB

Jeudy brought in two of three targets for 20 yards in the Browns' 24-6 loss to the Bengals on Sunday. Working with Dorian Thompson-Robinson as his quarterback instead of Jameis Winston (shoulder), Jeudy saw significant regression in his numbers Sunday. The speedy wideout didn't enjoy anything resembling the downfield role he often filled with the freewheeling Winston at the controls, as Thompson-Robinson averaged just 4.6 yards per attempt while also throwing a pair of interceptions and taking five sacks. Jeudy could be hard-pressed to see much improvement in Week 17 when the talented Dolphins secondary comes to town.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Bust Alert (Start/Sit)

You know the deal with Samuel by now. He comes into Week 16 having scored 6.1 PPR points or less in five games in a row, and he hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 6. The 49ers tried to get him going in Week 15 against the Rams with seven targets, and he finished with three catches for 16 yards and two carries for 3 yards. There's little reason to trust Samuel against the Dolphins, and Miami is No. 4 in the fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Stellar showing in loss

Jeudy brought in 11 of 14 targets for 108 yards in the Browns' 21-7 loss to the Chiefs on Sunday. Jeudy comfortably led the Browns in receptions, receiving yards and targets on an afternoon when Jameis Winston and Dorian Thompson-Robinson combined for just 154 passing yards and threw four interceptions between them. The 2020 first-round pick of the Broncos is putting the finishing touches on a career year despite his team's struggles, now boasting a 70-1,052-4 line across 14 games. Both the reception and receiving yardage totals are new high-water marks for the talented wideout, but he could see a downturn in production over the final three games if head coach Kevin Stefanski opts to turn to the erratic Thompson-Robinson at quarterback the rest of the way following Winston's benching Sunday.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: WRs to Start

It should be obvious at this point to start Jeudy, and hopefully this is the last time we'll mention him here. Let's hope he stays hot for the rest of the season after he just scored 40.5 PPR points in Week 13 at Denver. But he was also doing well prior to that and has scored at least 12.9 PPR points in all five starts with Jameis Winston, including Week 12 against Pittsburgh in the snow when he had six catches for 85 yards on six targets. The Steelers are No. 9 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers, but Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins and Andrei Iosivas all had at least 12.5 PPR points against Pittsburgh in Week 13. I'm confident in Jeudy as a No. 2 Fantasy receiver in all leagues.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Career-best performance in loss

Jeudy secured nine of 13 targets for 235 yards and a touchdown while adding a two-point conversion catch in the Browns' 41-32 loss to the Broncos on Monday night. Facing the team that invested the 15th overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft in him, Jeudy ensured his return to Denver was a memorable one by recording career highs in receptions and receiving yards. Jeudy got to the latter total with a significant assist from a 70-yard touchdown reception early in the third quarter, as well as a 35-yard grab to open a possession early in the fourth quarter. The veteran wideout has displayed excellent chemistry with Jameis Winston since the latter took over the starting job, generating a 33-614-2 line on 49 targets over that five-game span. Jeudy will next take aim at a Steelers defense he posted six receptions for 85 yards against back in Week 12, as Cleveland travels to Pittsburgh for an AFC North clash on Sunday.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Bust Alert (Start/Sit)

Jeudy has proven to be Cleveland's best receiver since Amari Cooper was traded to Buffalo, along with Jameis Winston taking over at quarterback. In four games with Winston, Jeudy has scored at least 12.9 PPR points in each outing, and he has at least six targets in four games in a row. This is a revenge game for him against the Broncos, who traded him to the Browns this offseason, but I expect Denver to shadow Jeudy with Patrick Surtain II, especially if Cedric Tillman (concussion) is out. Jeudy is still worth starting in three-receiver leagues, but also keep in mind that he only has one touchdown in four games with Winston as well.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Week 11 Waiver Priority List

Jeudy was on a nice roll prior to Cleveland's bye in Week 10, and hopefully, he continues to produce quality stats for the rest of the season, starting in Week 11 at New Orleans. In two games prior to the bye, Jeudy scored at least 12.9 PPR points in each outing against Baltimore and the Chargers, with 12 catches for 152 yards on 19 targets. He's worth adding in all leagues for at least 10 percent of your remaining FAB. And you can also add Elijah Moore (14 percent rostered) in deeper leagues. Prior to Week 10, Moore had 27 targets in his previous three games, and he scored at least 10.1 PPR points in two of them. He's worth adding for 1 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Seven catches in loss

Jeudy secured seven of 11 targets for 73 yards in the Browns' 27-10 loss to the Chargers on Sunday. Jeudy set the pace in receptions while sharing the lead in targets with Cedric Tillman on a difficult afternoon overall for Jameis Winston. Jeudy has now exceeded 70 receiving yards in back-to-back games for the first time as a member of the Browns and logged 25 targets over the last three contests, affording him a formidable fantasy floor heading into a Week 11 road matchup against the Saints following a Week 10 bye.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Limited practice Thursday

Jeudy (knee) was limited at practice Thursday. Jeudy practiced fully Wednesday, so his addition to the Browns' injury report a day later makes his status worth tracking. The team's upcoming injury report will relay whether the wideout approaches Sunday's game against the Chargers with an injury designation or cleared for Week 9 action.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Reason for optimism with Winston

Jeudy recorded five receptions on eight targets for 79 yards in Sunday's 29-24 win over the Ravens. The entire Browns offense saw a boost with Jameis Winston under center, and Jeudy immediately managed one of his more impactful performances of the season. He got off to a relatively slow start with only one catch in the first half, but he got things going in the final two quarters with long gains of 30 and 14 yards. Even with unsustainable volume -- Winston took to the air 41 times -- there should be optimism that Jeudy will show improvement across the second half of the season with Winston as his quarterback.
