Maddux Trujillo: Waived by Buffalo
The Bills waived Trujillo on Tuesday.

Bills' Maddux Trujillo: Lands with Buffalo
Trujillo signed a reserve/future contract with Buffalo on Tuesday.

Maddux Trujillo: Gets look from Atlanta
The Falcons hosted Trujillo (undisclosed) for a workout Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Trujillo reached an injury settlement with the Colts on Friday after reverting to the team's injured list due to an undisclosed issue. He appears to be fully healthy, and the Falcons appear to be exploring their options at kicker after Younghoe Koo missed a crucial 44-yard field goal late in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Buccaneers. Trujillo signed with the Colts as an undrafted free agent in late April but ultimately lost the starting kicking job to Spencer Shrader in training camp.

Colts' Maddux Trujillo: Reverts to Indy's IR
Trujillo (undisclosed) reverted to Indianapolis' injured reserve list Wednesday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Trujillo wasn't claimed by another team after the Colts waived him with an injury designation Tuesday, so now he's going to their practice squad. He'll have to stay there for the entire 2025 season unless he works out an injury settlement with the club.

Maddux Trujillo: Waived/injured by Indy
The Colts waived/injured Trujillo (undisclosed) on Tuesday, Amanda Foster of the team's official site reports.
Trujillo was able to play in the Colts' preseason finale against the Bengals on Saturday, when he made all three of his extra-point tries. The severity and nature of his injury isn't clear, but if he clears waivers, he'll revert to injured reserve and be forced to miss the entire 2025 season unless he reaches an injury settlement with the Colts.

Colts' Maddux Trujillo: Doesn't kick Saturday
Spencer Shrader took all the kicks in Saturday's preseason game, which likely means he's won the starting job, the Indianapolis Star reports. Trujillo is expected to get all kicking opportunities in the final preseason game.
Shrader has been seen as ahead in the kicking competition throughout training camp. Trujillo likely will be making his case for a job with another team in next week's game.
