Vikings' Donovan Jackson: Upgrades to full practice Thursday
Jackson (ankle) was a full practice participant Thursday.
Jackson hurt his ankle Week 12 against Green Bay and didn't play the following Sunday versus Seattle. However, he was able to return to action this past Sunday against Washington and played all 64 of the Vikings' offensive snaps. With a full practice under his belt Thursday, Jackson should be good to face the Cowboys this Sunday.

Jackson played through his ankle issue Week 14 against the Commanders, and he'll work to gain clearance again for Sunday's matchup against the Cowboys. The rookie first-rounder has impressed as a pass blocker as Minnesota's starting left guard.

Jackson was sidelined in Week 13 at Seattle with the ankle injury he suffered in Week 12 at Green Bay, and it seems his availability in Week 14 is close to a coin-flip proposition. If he can't suit up Sunday, Blake Brandel would project to make another start at guard.

He didn't practice to begin this week of prep, but a limited session Thursday improves his outlook for Sunday's game against Washington. Still, Jackson will probably enter the weekend with an injury designation if he isn't able to upgrade to full participation Friday.

The 2025 first-round pick from Ohio State is now in line to miss his third game of the season due to an ankle injury sustained in the Week 12 loss to the Packers. While Jackson is sidelined Sunday, expect Joe Huber to start at left guard.
