Patriots' Jared Wilson: Bumping to center
Wilson will move from left guard to center in the upcoming 2026 season, Mark Daniels of MassLive.com reports.
Wilson started 13 games at left guard as a rookie third-round pick. Now, he'll move to center after the Patriots traded Garrett Bradbury to the Bears this offseason, meaning Wilson will snap the ball to high-school teammate Drake Maye in 2026.

Patriots' Jared Wilson: Won't play Week 18
Wilson (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Miami, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
Wilson has not practiced or played since entering the league's concussion protocol following the Patriots' Week 16 win over the Ravens. The lack of progression through the league's protocol puts the rookie third-rounder in jeopardy of being sidelined for the start of the playoffs, though he would have an extra week to recover if the Patriots were to claim the No. 1 seed in the AFC by winning Sunday if the Broncos were to lose to the Chargers. Ben Brown should start at left guard for a second straight game in Wilson's absence.

Patriots' Jared Wilson: Unable to practice Wednesday
Wilson (concussion) did not practice Wednesday.
Wilson has not yet progressed enough through the NFL's five-step concussion protocol to resume practicing in even a limited fashion. The rookie third-round pick entered the concussion protocol due to a hit suffered Week 16, and he subsequently sat out New England's blowout win over the Jets in Week 17. He'll need to fully clear the concussion protocol in order to be eligible for Sunday's regular-season finale against Miami.
