Giants' Jaxson Dart: Taking first QB reps Wednesday
Rotowire
Dart (concussion) was the first quarterback up during Wednesday's practice, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
The Giants are holding a non-contact session to begin Week 12 prep, but Dart's ability to handle the initial QB reps is a good sign that he's trending toward a return to action Sunday at Detroit. He'll need to clear the concussion protocol, including meeting with an independent neurologist, in order to do so, but it appears he'll miss only one game as a result of the head injury he suffered during a Week 10 loss in Chicago.

Giants' Jaxson Dart: Expected to practice Wednesday
Rotowire
Dart (concussion) is in line to participate in Wednesday's practice, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
Dart didn't practice in any capacity en route to being ruled out for the Giants' loss to the Packers in Week 11, so it will represent a notable step in the right direction if he's able to handle even limited reps Wednesday. Of course, to be eligible for a return to action Sunday versus the Lions, the rookie first-round pick would need to gain full clearance from the concussion protocol, including from an independent neurologist. Jameis Winston will be in line to draw another start in the event that Dart isn't cleared in time to suit up Week 12.

Giants' Jaxson Dart: Remains in concussion protocol
Rotowire
Dart remains in the league's concussion protocol, but the Giants are optimistic he'll be able to return in time for next Sunday's game against the Lions, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports.
Dart missed the Week 11 loss to the Packers and has been checked for a concussion four times already this season, but it sounds like there's a chance the rookie quarterback will be back under center for Week 12 in Detroit. In Dart's absence against Green Bay, Jameis Winston made the start and completed 19 of 29 pass attempts for 201 scoreless yards and one interception. If Dart is unable to play against the Lions, Winston likely would make another start.

Giants' Jaxson Dart: May limit running upon return
Rotowire
The Giants have advised Dart (concussion) -- who has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Packers -- to exercise more caution with when and how frequently he scrambles once he returns to the field, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Dart entered concussion protocol shortly after taking a big hit in the third quarter of last Sunday's loss to the Bears, when he fumbled at the end of a seven-yard run. Though he's now been diagnosed with a concussion for the first time in 2025, Dart has been evaluated for concussions on four total occasions since the beginning of the preseason, which has prompted the Giants to be more strident in their request for the quarterback to modify his approach to running. To that end, quarterbacks coach Shea Tierney has been educating Dart with videos of other running quarterbacks, pointing out the difference between being reckless and acting in self-preservation. Ultimately, any change in approach will have to be a conscious choice on the part of Dart, whose aggressiveness as a runner thus far has undoubtedly enhanced his fantasy appeal. Through his first seven starts, Dart has turned in respectable production as a passer (202.2 yards per game, 10:3 TD:INT), but his numbers as a runner (45.3 yards per game, seven scores) have been the major driver of his value. Dart appears to be making good progress through the five-step concussion protocol and could be back in action for Week 12 in Detroit, but if he heeds the advice from the coaching staff and scales back his running, he may not represent as bankable of a fantasy option as he had been prior to suffering the concussion.

Giants' Jaxson Dart: Officially ruled out
Rotowire
Dart (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Packers, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Jameis Winston will be the starting quarterback for New York's first game under interim head coach Mike Kafka. With WR Darius Slayton (hamstring) also ruled out, the passing attack is short-handed against a strong Green Bay defense. Dart didn't practice this week, but he did stretch on the field with teammates Friday -- a sign of progress through the concussion protocol, per Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record.

Giants' Jaxson Dart: Won't start Sunday
Rotowire
Interim head coach Mike Kafka confirmed Wednesday that Dart (concussion) won't start Sunday's game against the Packers.
With Dart in the NFL's concussion protocol, the Giants are playing it safe with the 2025 first-rounder, which sets the stage for Jameis Winston to draw the start versus Green Bay. Per Paul Schwartz of the New York Post, Kafka noted that Dart is "right on track and right on pace" in terms of concussion protocol, which suggests that Dart could be cleared in time to get the starting nod in Week 12. If Dart is made inactive this weekend, Russell Wilson would be in line to back up Winston.

Giants' Jaxson Dart: Being checked for head injury
Rotowire
Dart is under evaluation for a possible concussion during Sunday's contest at Chicago, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
On a designed quarterback run in the third quarter, Dart gained seven yards before taking a big hit and losing a fumble. He was hobbling as he made his way to the sideline before visiting the blue medical tent and eventually the locker room. Dart had completed 19 of 29 passes for 241 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions and turned six rushes into 66 yards and two touchdowns when he departed the game. Russell Wilson took over for Dart under center.

Giants' Jaxson Dart: Sleeper QBs
Rotowire
Dart scored 21.4 Fantasy points in Week 8 at Philadelphia, and he has now scored at least 19.6 points in all five starts he's made this season. He's getting quality production on the ground with either a rushing touchdown or 55 rushing yards in all five games, and he might have to use his legs more with Cam Skattebo (ankle) out for the season. The 49ers have allowed three of the past four quarterbacks to score at least 23.6 Fantasy points, and Dart should be considered a low-end starting option in all leagues in Week 9.

Giants' Jaxson Dart: Start of the Week
Rotowire
Dart has been impressive in six starts so far this season, and he appears to have a bright future. Imagine how good he can be with a healthy Malik Nabers (knee) next season? Unfortunately, we don't have Nabers in Week 10 at the Bears, but Dart is making enough plays with Wan'Dale Robinson, Darius Slayton and Theo Johnson to help Fantasy managers. Dart has scored at least 21.4 Fantasy points in five of six starts, with his worst outing 19.6 points in Week 5 at New Orleans. And he's doing wonderful things on the ground with either a rushing touchdown or 55 rushing yards in all six starts, including four games in a row with a touchdown. The Bears are No. 5 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks, and four quarterbacks have scored at least 26.2 points against Chicago this season. I'm excited to see what Dart can do in this matchup, and he has top-five upside in the majority of leagues.

Giants' Jaxson Dart: Three total TDs in Week 9 loss
Rotowire
Dart completed 24 of 33 passes for 191 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 34-24 loss to the 49ers. He added eight rushing attempts for 56 yards and a touchdown.
Dart connected with Theo Johnson for a 15-yard touchdown on the opening drive but generated only 65 passing yards on 15 first-half passes. The Giants finally got back into the end zone with less than eight minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, when Dart scored his fifth rushing touchdown through six starts on a six-yard designed run. Dart also tossed a 24-yard touchdown pass to Gunner Olszewski with 1:21 remaining, but the Giants still faced double-digit deficits after both of those fourth-quarter scores. The rookie first-round pick led the team in rushing yards Sunday as he continues to generate offense with both his arm and legs, but Dart's limited supporting cast will continue to cap his upside in Week 10 against the Bears.

Giants' Jaxson Dart: Another rushing TD in Week 8 loss
Rotowire
Dart completed 14 of 24 passes for 193 yards and a touchdown while rushing six times for 17 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 38-20 loss to the Eagles.
Dart tossed an 18-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter to Cam Skattebo, who later left the game due to a dislocated ankle. The Giants' offense didn't get much going after that, though Dart also had a would-be 68-yard touchdown pass to Darius Slayton in the fourth quarter nullified by a questionable offensive pass interference call. Dart tacked on a two-yard touchdown run late in the fourth quarter, giving the rookie first-round pick a rushing score in four of his first five starts. His rushing upside will keep Dart fantasy-relevant in Week 9 against the 49ers despite the Giants' depleted supporting cast on offense.

Giants' Jaxson Dart: Sleeper QBs
Rotowire
Dart has scored at least 19.6 Fantasy points in all four starts this season, including 25.6 points against the Eagles in Week 6. He only had 195 passing yards in that game, but he passed for a touchdown and added 58 rushing yards and a score. Dart has rushed for either 55 yards or a touchdown in all four starts, and he's worth using as a low-end starter in the rematch at Philadelphia. Three of the past four quarterbacks against the Eagles have scored at least 19.9 Fantasy points, and Dart should stay in that range once again in Week 8.

Giants' Jaxson Dart: Falls short despite four TDs
Rotowire
Dart completed 15 of 33 pass attempts for 283 yards, three touchdowns and an interception while taking five carries for 11 yards and another touchdown in Sunday's 33-32 loss to Denver.
It was a crushing loss for the Giants, considering Dart pushed his fourth touchdown of the contest across the goal line with 40 seconds left in regulation, only to watch a missed extra-point attempt open the door for the Broncos to come back and win it with a field goal as time expired. The rookie signal-caller finished with his worst completion percentage (45.5) as a pro, but he offset the inefficiency with new highs in passing yards (283) and total touchdowns (four). Dart's fourth and final trip to the end zone came as a rusher, which helped offset a season-low five rush attempts Sunday. The Ole Miss product will attempt to overcome another tough defensive matchup when the Giants visit the Eagles next Sunday. Dart generated 23.6 standard fantasy points when these two teams met in New York back in Week 6.

Giants' Jaxson Dart: QBs to Sit
Rotowire
Dart has scored at least 19.6 Fantasy points in all three starts this season, and he just had his best outing in Week 6 against Philadelphia with 25.6 points. He's rushed for at least 54 yards in all three starts, including two rushing touchdowns, and he's been fun to watch since taking over for Russell Wilson in Week 4. But Dart should struggle in Week 7 at Denver, and the Broncos are No. 2 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks. Denver also has been fantastic against mobile quarterbacks in holding Daniel Jones, Justin Herbert, Jalen Hurts, and Justin Fields to a combined 17 carries for 42 yards and a touchdown. We'll see if Dart can make plays through the air against the Broncos, but without his rushing prowess, it could be a long day for the rookie on the road.

Giants' Jaxson Dart: One To Stash (QB Preview)
Rotowire
There is no way I am starting Dart against the Broncos. There is no way I am dropping Dart either. He's shown us the profile of a must-start Fantasy QB, but a lot of that has been with his legs, and the Broncos have bottled up running QBs all year. Stash Dart for one more week, or pick him up if he is still available in your league.

Giants' Jaxson Dart: Being examined in medical tent
Rotowire
Dart exited Thursday's game against the Eagles with an apparent upper-body injury, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports.
Dart was attempting to escape pressure late in the third quarter and suffered a series of hard hits to his head and shoulder area. He ran off the field under his own power but straight into the medical tent. Russell Wilson replaced him to complete the drive, though Dart was spotted with his helmet on the sideline during the Eagles' next offensive possession.

Giants' Jaxson Dart: In clear for Thursday night game
Rotowire
Dart (hamstring) was listed as a full participant for Tuesday's walk-through practice, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Though Tuesday's session wasn't conducted at full speed, Dart didn't face any limitations and looks to be ready to play Thursday against the Eagles. Head coach Brian Daboll acknowledged as much prior to the walkthrough, telling Evan Barnes of Newsday that Dart's sore left hamstring wasn't viewed as much of a concern, even on a short week. After leading the Giants to an impressive win over the Chargers in his first NFL start in Week 4, Dart took a step back in a disappointing loss to the previously winless Saints in Week 5, committing three turnovers on the afternoon. However, Dart still managed to produce a fantasy friendly line in the loss, throwing for 202 yards and two scores while adding 55 yards on seven carries.

Giants' Jaxson Dart: Estimated as limited Monday
Rotowire
Dart (hamstring) was estimated as a limited participant on Monday's practice report, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
The Giants didn't actually practice but were required to release an estimation ahead of Thursday night's game against the Eagles. Dart dealt with the hamstring issue in practice last week but was able to play Sunday against the Saints. He should be under center for Thursday night's divisional tilt.

Giants' Jaxson Dart: Full practice confirmed
Rotowire
Dart (hamstring) practiced fully Wednesday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Dart emerged from his first NFL start this past Sunday versus the Chargers with a hamstring injury after taking five sacks during a 13-for-20 passing performance and two total touchdowns (one passing, one rushing). Prior to Wednesday's session, coach Brian Daboll told Dan Duggan of The Athletic that Dart wouldn't be limited, which has come to pass. Dart thus will resume his standing as the Giants' No. 1 signal-caller as the team prepares for Sunday's game at New Orleans.

Giants' Jaxson Dart: Week 5 Waiver Priority List
Rotowire
Dart would be first on this list if Malik Nabers (ACL) was healthy, but it stinks that Dart won't have Nabers available for the rest of his rookie season. Hopefully, the rest of the receivers for the Giants -- Darius Slayton, Wan'Dale Robinson, Theo Johnson, and the running backs -- can help Dart make enough plays to be a borderline starter in all leagues, especially in Week 5 against the Saints. And he's going to run, which is exciting, since he had 10 carries for 54 yards against the Chargers in Week 4. After Week 5, things get rough for Dart with three games against the Eagles twice and Denver, but he might be able to surprise us. He's worth adding for up to 5 percent of your remaining FAB.
