Horne suffered a torn Achilles' tendon in Saturday's preseason contest against the Jets. If he goes unclaimed, Horne will revert to the Giants' injured reserve list. Horne appeared in three games with the Falcons this season, after suiting up in all 17 last year. The 26-year-old has four assisted tackles on the season and should provide some extra depth on the defensive line with Dexter Lawrence still struggling with a hamstring injury.
