Eagles' A.J. Brown: Has chance to return in Week 10
Rotowire
Brown (hamstring), who has already been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Giants, could return to action Nov. 10 in Green Bay following the Eagles' Week 9 bye, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Brown wasn't able to practice at all this week due to a hamstring issue. Such injuries often require a multi-week absence, but Brown has the advantage of Philadelphia's upcoming bye -- as well as an extra day off in Week 10, as the Eagles play Monday night -- to try to get healthy and avoid missing additional time. In separate news, Schefter reported Saturday that Philadelphia is unlikely to move Brown ahead of the Nov. 4 trade deadline, despite the wideout having drawn heavy interest from teams around the league.

Eagles' A.J. Brown: Ruled out for Week 8
Rotowire
Brown (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Giants.
Reports earlier this week suggested Brown's hamstring injury wasn't serious, but he never ended up practicing and now will miss the final game before a Week 9 bye. Jahan Dotson and John Metchie figure to take on the vacated snaps at wide receiver, with DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert getting sizable boosts in target-share projection.

Eagles' A.J. Brown: Not practicing Friday
Rotowire
Brown (hamstring) isn't practicing Friday, Eliot Shorr-Parks of Sports Radio 94 WIP Philadelphia reports.
A third straight missed practice is bad news for Brown and his fantasy managers, although Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said earlier Friday that the wideout doesn't need to practice this week in order to play in Sunday's game against the Giants. Brown did work out on the side Thursday while his teammates practiced, with Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer suggesting that the wideout was on track to play Sunday. A third missed practice may have changed that expectation, with Brown now highly likely to have a game designation on the final injury report later Friday.

Eagles' A.J. Brown: Could play without practicing
Rotowire
Eagles coach Nick Sirianni said Friday that Brown (hamstring) does not necessarily need to practice this week in order to play in Sunday's game against the Giants, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Sirianni didn't say if Brown will return to practice Friday after missing the previous two days. Reports on Thursday suggested Brown is still expected to play this week, but another absence Friday might change that thinking, despite what Sirianni said about Brown being able to play without practicing.

Eagles' A.J. Brown: No practice again Thursday
Rotowire
Brown (hamstring) isn't practicing Thursday, Eliot Shorr-Parks of Sports Radio 94 WIP Philadelphia reports.
Brown now has missed the first two practices of Week 8 prep due to a hamstring injury, but he was spotted working out on the side during Thursday's session, per Bob Brookover of NJ.com. There's an expectation that Brown will be able to suit up Sunday against the Giants, according to Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer, but Friday's injury report will reveal whether or not the wideout enters the weekend with a designation for that contest.

Eagles' A.J. Brown: On track to play this week
Rotowire
Brown missed Wednesday's practice with a hamstring injury, but he's on track to play this Sunday against the Giants, according to Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer.
A return to practice Thursday would support the notion that Brown's hamstring injury is minor. There was no sign of trouble in Sunday's win at Minnesota, with Brown catching four passes for 121 yards and two touchdowns while playing 92 percent of snaps and handling a 100 percent route share.

Eagles' A.J. Brown: Dealing with hamstring injury
Rotowire
Brown missed Wednesday's practice due to a hamstring injury.
It's the first time this season he's missed practice due to an injury. There was no sign of trouble in Sunday's win at Minnesota, with Brown catching four passes for 121 yards and two touchdowns while playing 92 percent of offensive snaps and handling a 100 percent route share.

Eagles' A.J. Brown: Stands out in Week 7 win
Rotowire
Brown brought in four of six targets for 121 yards and two touchdowns in the Eagles' 28-22 win over the Vikings on Sunday.
Brown saw DeVonta Smith put together a spectacular 9-183-1 line on 11 targets to pace Philadelphia's air attack, but the former contributed on a markedly more efficient basis by recording grabs of 37, 26, 13 and 45 yards. The first two of those receptions went for touchdowns in the first and fourth quarter, respectively, while the final one came on third down with less than two minutes remaining and allowed the Eagles to run out the clock. Brown has between six and 10 targets over his last six games, and he's come alive in the last pair of contests with a 10-201-2 line in that span. Brown and the Eagles will be looking for a bit of revenge Week 8, as a Giants team they just lost to in Week 6 pays a visit to Philadelphia next Sunday afternoon.

Eagles' A.J. Brown: No private meeting
Rotowire
There was no "private meeting" between Brown, Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley as initially reported elsewhere, Jay Glazer reported on Fox NFL Sunday. Instead, Brown saw Hurts and Barkley talking in the parking lot and walked over to join them.
This comes with the territory for a big market team that's the defending Super Bowl champs, but the drama surrounding the Eagles' key offensive players has been exhausting. However, it's prudent to remember how the Eagles' offense was also off-kilter at this point in the season last year, too.

Eagles' A.J. Brown: Solid showing in upset loss
Rotowire
Brown brought in six of nine targets for 80 yards in the Eagles' 34-17 loss to the Giants on Thursday night.
Brown finished second across the board in receptions, receiving yards and targets to Dallas Goedert for the Eagles on the night, tying a season high in catches as well. Brown also recorded his first catch of 20-plus yards since Week 3, and he extended his streak of games with at least eight targets to five contests. He has at least five receptions in four of the last five games, so, despite all the talk about his reduced role in the offense, the star wideout remains an integral figure in Philadelphia's air attack heading into a Week 7 road matchup against the Vikings on Sunday, Oct. 19.

Eagles' A.J. Brown: Sleepers (Start/Sit)
Rotowire
Brown was unhappy following Week 4 against Tampa Bay when he caught two passes for 7 yards, but he had nine targets. He can't say the Eagles didn't try to get him the ball, and he has 19 targets in his past two games against the Rams and Buccaneers. For the season, Brown only has one game with more than 7.7 PPR points, and it's hard to expect a standout performance in Week 5 against the Broncos, where he will likely see a lot of Denver cornerback Patrick Surtain II. I'm still starting Brown in three-receiver leagues, but this is a terrible matchup for him against this defense.

Eagles' A.J. Brown: Forgettable numbers in loss
Rotowire
Brown brought in two of nine targets for seven yards in the Eagles' 31-25 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday.
After coming to life with a 6-109-1 line against the Rams in Week 3, Brown's production slumped again. The veteran wideout's yardage total was a new season low and his second single-digit yardage figure over the first four games of 2025. Jalen Hurts did try to get the ball in Brown's hands however, and he has 27 targets in his last three contests. Brown could struggle once again to build momentum as the Broncos' suffocating secondary comes to town next Sunday afternoon for a tough Week 5 matchup.

Eagles' A.J. Brown: Breaks out of early-season slump
Rotowire
Brown recorded six receptions on 10 targets for 109 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 33-26 win over the Rams.
The Eagles had taken to the air sparingly in the first two weeks of this season, and Brown entered the game with 35 total yards from scrimmage. However, Philadelphia fell behind early against the Rams, and Jalen Hurts had to attempt 32 passes in a comeback effort, allowing Brown to get more opportunity. He turned that into several highlight-worthy plays, including a 38-yard catch deep down the right sideline early in the third quarter and a nine-yard touchdown catch one possession later. It's no surprise that Brown was productive when given the chance, and the Eagles could be pushed once again in a Week 4 matchup against the Bucs.

Eagles' A.J. Brown: Gets more involved in Week 2
Rotowire
Brown finished with five receptions on eight targets for 27 yards in Sunday's 20-17 win over the Chiefs.
This was certainly an improvement over last week's one-catch showing, but the end result was still poor from a fantasy perspective. DeVonta Smith (4-53-0) finished as the Eagles' leading receiver with Brown leading the team in targets (eight) and receptions (five). Philadelphia's run-heavy offense to kick off the 2025 season is the main culprit for the entire receiving corps posting paltry totals through two games. Perhaps Brown and the rest of the Eagles' aerial attack will finally take off in what could be a high-scoring affair against the Rams next Sunday.

Eagles' A.J. Brown: Nearly blanked in Week 1 win
Rotowire
Brown secured his only target for eight yards in the Eagles' 24-20 win over the Cowboys on Thursday night.
Brown's near shutout was alarming considering his typical importance to the Eagles' air attack, but both passing games were relatively subdued in the opener. While Brown garnered plenty of defensive attention, Dallas Goedert and Jahan Dotson appeared to be the biggest beneficiaries, and Brown finally got on the board with a timely eight-yard grab with 1:51 remaining to set up a game-sealing Jalen Hurts four-yard scramble. Needless to say, stat lines like Thursday's should be few and far between for Brown this season, and he's a virtual lock to be exponentially more involved a Week 2 road Super Bowl rematch with the Chiefs on Sunday, Sept. 14.

Eagles' A.J. Brown: Ready for Week 1
Rotowire
Brown (hamstring) doesn't appear on the Eagles' injury report ahead of Thursday's game against the Cowboys.
The same applies to DeVonta Smith (groin), which paves the way for the Eagles' top two wideouts to be available for Week 1 action. Brown is coming off a 2024 regular season in which he recorded a 67-1,079-7 line on 97 targets in 13 contests and is in line to continue in his key role in a Philadelphia passing offense that runs largely through him, Smith and TE Dallas Goedert.

Eagles' A.J. Brown: Participating in practice again
Rotowire
Brown (hamstring) is practicing Thursday, Brooks Kubena of The Athletic reports.
Brown also took part in Wednesday's practice. Though the star wideout has spent most of August managing a lingering hamstring injury, all signs have continued to point to his being available Week 1 against the Cowboys. DeVonta Smith (groin) is also practicing Thursday.

Eagles' A.J. Brown: Running routes pre-game
Rotowire
Brown (hamstring) went through a pregame workout Friday, John Clark of NBC Philadelphia reports.
Brown has been managing a hamstring injury since the first week of August, with no indication so far that it's considered a threat to his Week 1 availability. Fantasy managers will feel much better if he returns to full practice participation soon, but Friday's video of the pregame workout suggests Brown's hamstring is feeling much better, running routes and catching passes at close to full speed.

Eagles' A.J. Brown: Could practice next week
Rotowire
Brown (hamstring) is not participating in Tuesday's practice, Martin Frank of The Delaware News Journal reports.
The star wideout is sitting out another practice, though offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo said when the training staff "is ready to cut him loose, he'll be cut loose," which could occur next week. Brown managed to get in two limited practices to begin last week, and the Eagles simply seem to be taking a cautious approach to his recovery. There doesn't seem to be any concern about his availability for Week 1, but expect him to sit out Friday's preseason finale against the Jets.

Eagles' A.J. Brown: Sitting out Monday's practice
Rotowire
Brown (hamstring) is not practicing Monday, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Brown got in a handful of limited practices last week, but he's now been listed as a DNP since last Wednesday. The Eagles seem to simply be taking a cautious approach to the star wide receiver's recovery, and he doesn't seem to be in consideration for the team's preseason finale against the Jets on Friday. At this stage, though, Philadelphia hasn't indicated any signs of concern about Brown's availability for Week 1 against the Cowboys on Thursday, Sept. 4.
