Josh Hokit: Dropped Monday
San Francisco waived Hokit on Monday.

Hokit will now pass through waivers, where he will be made available to new teams in need of a fullback this offseason.

Josh Hokit: Cut by San Fran
Hokit was cut by the 49ers on Saturday.
Teams rarely if ever carry more than one fullback, and San Francisco already boasts arguably the best starter in the game at that position in Kyle Juszczyk, so it's no surprise that Hokit was unable to secure a spot on the team's 53-man roster.

49ers' Josh Hokit: Signs with San Fran
Hokit signed a contract with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent Tuesday.
Hokit rushed 75 times for 287 yards and nine touchdowns during his final season at Fresno State, and he'll join the 49ers after not being selected in the 2020 NFL Draft. He's unlikely to have much of a chance at cracking the 53-man roster as Kyle Jusczyk is probably the most versatile fullback in football.
