Dolphins' Darrell Baker: Moved to reserve/PUP list
Baker (undisclosed) was moved to the reserve/PUP list by the Dolphins on Sunday.
Baker suffered an undisclosed injury in July, and he was sidelined for the entirety of training camp and the preseason. Head coach Jeff Hafley stated in late July that the cornerback will likely be out until midseason, and the earliest he can return from the reserve/PUP list is Week 5 against the Bengals on Oct. 11.

Dolphins' Darrell Baker: Set to return midseason
Coach Jeff Hafley stated Tuesday that Baker (undisclosed) likely will be out until midseason, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.
Baker joined the Dolphins in March as a healthy defensive back, but an unknown injury popped up in late July. With Storm Duck (knee) also set to return midseason, the team will be thin on defensive backs for opening day. JuJu Brents, Jason Marshall, Alex Austin and the remaining healthy defensive backs will have a chance to start Week 1 if they show out in training camp and the preseason.

Dolphins' Darrell Baker: Moved to PUP list
Baker (undisclosed) was placed on the active/PUP list Thursday.
Baker was a new acquisition for the Dolphins, joining the team in March on a one-year deal. The cornerback was set to compete for a starting role on the defense in 2026, and it is unclear if he will still be available to start the season.

Dolphins' Darrell Baker: Signing with Miami
The Dolphins have agreed to a one-year deal with Baker, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Baker became an unrestricted free agent when the Titans chose not to tender him, leading to a signing with the Dolphins. The cornerback started the final 10 games of the 2025 regular season for the Titans, logging 97 percent or more of the defensive snaps in nine of those contests. Now proven to be able to handle a starting role, the 27-year-old will look to compete for one of the primary outside cornerback jobs in 2026.

Darrell Baker: Not tendered by Titans
Baker will become an unrestricted free agent March 11, as the Titans are not tendering the restricted free-agent cornerback, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Baker had 55 tackles (39 solo) and seven passes defensed for the Titans in 2025 while appearing in all 17 games. Tennessee remains interested in bringing Baker back, but he's also expected to have interest elsewhere on the open market.

Titans' Darrell Baker: Steps into expanded role
Baker recorded 55 tackles (39 solo) with seven passes defensed across 17 games in 2025.
Baker served as Tennessee's top corner for much of the season due to the absence of L'Jarius Sneed (quadriceps). He was picked on by opposing quarterbacks and surrendered a poor 135.4 passer rating and a 72.9 completion percentage when targeted, per PFF. Baker is an unrestricted free agent, and he'll likely have to settle for a modest, short-term deal.

Titans' Darrell Baker: Suiting up Sunday
Baker (knee/illness) is active for Sunday's game against the Seahawks.
Baker was bombarded with back luck this week, sustaining both a knee injury and illness that threatened to take his playing eligibility for Sunday. Evidently the starting cornerback was able to persevere, and he will look to continue the trend of playing 100 percent of snaps for the Titans' defense for a third consecutive week.

Titans' Darrell Baker: Dealing with illness
Baker, who is questionable to play Sunday against Seattle, is managing an illness as well as a knee injury, per the NFL's transaction log.
Baker popped up on Tennessee's injury report Wednesday due to a knee issue. The illness was added on Friday's report, and Baker was deemed questionable for Sunday. Baker has played every defensive snap for the Titans over their past two games, so the team will have to turn to another player to start if he's unable to suit up against the Seahawks.

Titans' Darrell Baker: Dealing with knee issue
Baker (knee) did not practice Wednesday.
Baker played 100 percent of snaps in Week 11 against Houston and recorded a career-high 12 tackles, so it's unclear when the injury occurred. He'll have two days to increase his participation to prepare for a Week 12 matchup against the Seahawks.

Titans' Darrell Baker: Career-high 12 stops vs. Houston
Baker posted 12 tackles (nine solo) and a pass defense during the Titans' 16-13 loss to the Texans on Sunday.
Baker entered Week 11 having not recorded more than five tackles through nine regular-season games, but he was far busier during Sunday's AFC South tilt and finished with a game-high 12 stops. Baker has stepped into a larger role in the Titans' secondary over the team's last four games, a development that's coincided with L'Jarius Sneed (quadriceps) being placed on injured reserve and Roger McCreary being traded to the Rams, both which took place in late October. Baker and the Titans will welcome in the Seahawks in Week 12.
