  • Colts' Camryn Bynum: Five tackles in win

Bynum recorded five tackles and one pass defensed in Sunday's 38-14 win over the Titans. Many of the Colts' starters saw decreased snap rates due to the blowout nature of the game, and Bynum was no exception. He managed to tie for second on the team in tackles and reached five stops for only the third time this season. Bynum could be in for another strong performance in Week 9, in what could be a high-scoring matchup against the Steelers.

  • Colts' Camryn Bynum: Season-high seven tackles in loss

Bynum recorded seven tackles (four solo) in the Colts' loss to the Rams on Sunday. For the first time this season, Bynum logged 100 percent of the defensive snaps, and it translated to a season-high in tackles. The 27-year-old safety has picked up 18 tackles (11 solo) and three pass breakups, including two interceptions, through four games to begin his Colts career.

  • Colts' Camryn Bynum: Nabs interception in Colts debut

Bynum had three total tackles and an interception in Sunday's win over Miami. Bynum started opposite Nick Cross at safety and played on 38 of the defense's 47 snaps. He was strong in pass coverage with two passes defensed, including his interception.

  • Colts' Camryn Bynum: Set to ink with Indy

The Colts are in line to sign Bynum to a four-year, $60 million contract, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. Bynum started all 17 games for Minnesota in each of the last three seasons, wrapping 2024 with 96 tackles (54 solo), 10 pass breakups, including three interceptions, plus two fumble recoveries. He's primed to handle a similar starting role with Indianapolis, joining Nick Cross to form what looks like a formidable tandem at safety.

  • Vikings' Camryn Bynum: Picks off three passes in 2024

Bynum finished the 2024 season with 96 tackles (54 solo), 10 pass breakups, including three interceptions, and two fumble recoveries across 17 regular-season contests. Bynum started all 17 games for the third straight season and set new career highs in pass breakups and interceptions while falling four tackles short of his second consecutive 100-tackle campaign. Known just as much for his well-choreographed celebrations following big plays, Bynum's strong numbers and week-to-week dependability on the back end of the defense should land him a big payday this spring, as he's set to become an unrestricted free agent.

  • Vikings' Camryn Bynum: Recovers fumble against Packers

Bynum logged four tackles (one solo) and a fumble recovery during the Vikings' 27-25 win over the Packers on Sunday. Bynum jumped on a ball that was forced out of the hands of Josh Jacobs by Jerry Tillery, though the Vikings weren't able to capitalize on the turnover on their next offensive drive. Bynum is now up to 89 tackles (47 solo), 10 pass defenses (including three interceptions) and two fumble recoveries across 16 regular-season games. He has an outside chance of reaching the century mark in tackles for a second consecutive year in the Vikings' regular-season finale against the Lions on Sunday.

  • Vikings' Camryn Bynum: Picks off Jones in Week 10

Bynum recorded three total tackles (one solo) and one interception in Sunday's 12-7 win over the Jaguars. Bynum had a crucial interception in the Vikings' Week 10 win, picking off Mac Jones in the fourth quarter as the Jaguars appeared to be mounting a game-winning drive. The fourth-year pro has now started all nine of the Vikings' games this season, recording 51 total tackles and eight passes defended, including three interceptions. He's expected to continue making plays as the Vikings travel to Tennessee in Week 12.

  • Vikings' Camryn Bynum: Makes nine tackles

Bynum notched nine solo tackles during Sunday's 19-13 win over the Bears. Bynum now boasts 41 total tackles through six appearances, an average of 6.8 per contest. He's also tallied two passes defensed and one forced fumble. By virtue of his consistent tackle numbers, Bynum will remain an interesting fantasy option in IDP formats heading into a Week 7 home matchup against the 49ers.

  • Vikings' Camryn Bynum: Pops in sophomore season

Bynum registered a career-high 81 tackles (49 solo) and added six pass breakups, two interceptions and two fumble recoveries while playing in all 17 regular-season games in 2022. Bynum doubled his production in pass breakups while nearly tripling his number of tackles from his rookie campaign with Minnesota. The 2021 fourth-round pick saw the majority of his playing time on special teams in the previous season, but he opened the 2022 campaign in an every-down role alongside veteran strong safety Harrison Smith. The 24-year-old Bynum maintained this role throughout the entirety of the campaign after rookie first-round pick Lewis Cine went down with a season-ending fractured leg Week 4. If Cine is back to full health in 2023, Bynum could end up ceding more work in the Minnesota secondary.

  • Vikings' Camryn Bynum: Registers game-high nine stops

Bynum recorded nine tackles (four solo) in Sunday's 41-17 loss to the Packers. Bynum was the only player on Minnesota's defense who never left the field in last weekend's matchup versus Green Bay, and he also set a new season high with nine tackles in the contest. He's more than likely to continue serving as an every-down safety in Week 18 against Chicago.

  • Vikings' Camryn Bynum: Starts at free safety

Bynum started at free safety and had seven total tackles in Sunday's win over Green Bay. Bynum played on all 61 of the defense's snaps with first-round draft pick Lewis Cine missing Sunday's game with a knee injury. Cine was a strong candidate to win the starting free safety job, but he may now be eased into action. Bynum may play the bulk of snaps in the near term as a result.

Bynum was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Friday, per the NFL's transaction log. Bynum landed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Jan. 3 and was sidelined for Minnesota's final contest of the season. He concluded his rookie campaign with 28 total tackles, one interception and one sack across 14 games.

  • Vikings' Camryn Bynum: Has sack in another start

Bynum started at safety opposite Xavier Woods and had six total tackles, a sack and a pass defensed in Sunday's win at the Chargers. Bynum drew a second consecutive start with Harrison Smith on the COVID-19 list. He's played so well in his first two starts (and first two games with significant playing time on defense) that he should continue to have a larger reserve role when Smith returns.

  • Vikings' Camryn Bynum: Gets start at safety

Bynum will start at safety in place of Harrison Smith, who will not play after being placed on the COVID-19 list, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports. Bynum has played just nine snaps on defense as he's mostly been used on special teams (127 snaps). Still, he could get plenty of work in a secondary that may struggle without Smith and cornerback Patrick Peterson.
