Jets' Jonathan Marshall: Placed on COVID-19 list
Marshall was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
Marshall hasn't played much this season as a depth piece of the Jets' defensive line, but as ailments have piled up within the unit, his chance to see an increase in work has grown. Now that he has hit the COVID list himself, he may miss that opportunity. However, if Marshall is vaccinated and can produce two negative tests more than 24 hours apart, he can clear protocols and suit up Sunday against the Jaguars.

While the Jets didn't announce what injury Marshall is dealing with, he was able to work off to the side for most of the OTA and minicamp activities this summer. It's not yet clear how much time he'll miss to begin training camp.
