Andrew Trainer: Waived by Chargers
Trainer (undisclosed) was waived by the Chargers on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Trainer spent the past two seasons on injured reserve but didn't have any injury designation upon being waived, so he at least appears to be healthy heading into the 2024 campaign. The offensive lineman has yet to make his NFL debut.

Chargers' Andrew Trainer: Could miss entire season again
Trainer (undisclosed) reverted to injured reserve Wednesday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Trainer was on the Chargers' IR during all of last season and is now in danger of missing a second consecutive campaign. The 25-year-old was said to be impressing early in training camp, and it's uncertain when he got injured or what the nature of the issue is. Trainer will need to reach an injury settlement with the Chargers in order to play in 2023.

Andrew Trainer: Let go by Los Angeles
The Chargers waived/injured Trainer (undisclosed) on Tuesday.
The move coincides with the team signing linebacker Tae Crowder. Trainer will revert to the Chargers' injured reserve list should he go unclaimed on waivers. He also missed the 2022 season after being placed on injured reserve last August with an undisclosed injury.

Chargers' Andrew Trainer: Presumably healthy
Trainer (undisclosed) is on the team's depth chart for the 2023 season, Eric Smith of the Chargers' official site reports.
Trainer spent all of the 2022 season on the team's IR due to an undisclosed injury. His status for training camp wasn't clear initially, but he's now listed as a reserve offensive tackle on the team's first depth chart of the summer and therefore presumably back to full health.
